I have felt similar when went in dzire to kodag last year... Bumps are at places you doesnt expect and that too a wide one, which gives a feel it might scrape the underside.

An electric kit conversion project on a scooter seems like a fantastic idea. But instead of doing it on a extinct model, a common mans vehicle like Activa/Splendor will be much appreciated & valuable as this will boost confidence in many owners to go ahead with the conversion and save on fuel money and pollution. One of the biggest market for diesel is Europe. People from none of the American countries even heard about diesel. Diesel engines are always powerful than petrol, hence Europeans are still prefer that. In INDIA, diesel vehicles are popular just due to mileage it gives not by power. Innovations in diesel are always happening in Europe, I do remember 15-18 years back they use bio diesel. Hence I do not think European companies won’t remove diesel completely from their portfolio, since Europe is still the biggest market for car manufacturers.

I'm trying to post a comment since yesterday but it keeps disappearing 😅( I don't know if youtube have regulations against posting anti EV comments 😅) Just my opinion : Just adding my thoughts from what I have read, I think EVs are overhyped just like Akio Toyoda had stressed many times. Process to build an EV is more dangerous than extracting Fossil fuels. So much of water pollution and mining to take metal which is very barely spoken off. Automotive companies (olders IC manufacturers) and government should think alternative fuels than promote EV. EV cars will again keep on polluting. There was an article published by WIRED two years back on power grid failure if cars are all charged together, and they stressed companies still haven't found out a solution for the failure. But like everywhere pro EV companies later rejected this. This is very mysterious.. nobody is able to predict the future or even plan accordingly. India needs proper R&D and planning before implementing we really lack in these areas. Japan had been promoting public transport especially railways more than cars to reduce pollution. Their government don't seem to be obsession about EV cars. Maybe our government can think that way.

Someone in Kerala had come up with adding electric motor to the rear wheel of FWD cars. Whats your take on that? If perfected, this is an amazing thing to do. All of a sudden we get AWD cars that have double the power.

Hydrogen may not be about passenger cars but more about ships and other long hauls where battery is not feasible and may be if not hydrogen then ammonia, storage from green sources -storage might even include kinetic storage of water. And all this is after all not about what is better it is about market capture once it is there it is hard to replace

2:50 I really appreciate you guys for telling the real fact on the roads of Bangalore vs Kerala. Few KZreadrs just fake about how good the roads are in Bangalore and how pathetic it's on Kerala. Guys what's your opinion about the long term reliability of the 1.5 TSI motor of the VAG group. Does the cylinder deactivation tech make it much more complex. Are there any issues reported for this engine. Please provide any insights you may have on this.

Scrappage policy doesn't compulsorily say to scrap private vehicles over 15 years. It COMPULSORILY ONLY APPLY TO COMMERCIAL vehicles. So, y so worries. Petrols and diesel cars are gonna run in my 70s.

Hydrogen definitely has a future, it's not just 2-3 stations as jayd mentioned. The amount of energy spent to refine crude oil to get different types of fuel vs the amount of energy spent to make batteries and generate electricity is always there. Nothing is going to be hundred percent free or that efficient.

2:50 as JD said roads are pathetic in Bangalore. Compared to Bangalore Kerala roads are far better, (including gully roads). Government is least bothered about it. If they repair the road or retar the road, very next day morning someone will come and dig it.
