I have slavia 1.5, and cost of engile oil is very nominal considering they are using fully synthetic…..😊 Suzuki was charging same for nornal engine oil.

I came from getting my Tiago serviced to Kushaq. The difference is like hell and heaven. Skoda for sure has some issues as well but compared to Tata servicing, its world apart.

@@SunderdeepSingh One reason is less crowd. TATA service center was always crowded no matter what day of the week I went there. Whenever I raised the issues with the car I never felt they listened to them properly because most of them didn't get fixed. It always felt like they just washed the car and gave it to me. Moreover, I faced major issues with the car along with an incident. Within 2 years its starter motor failed and they told me it has to be replaced. The replacement took a lot of time and had me frustrated. The incident being once they sent my car with a dent after a service which wasn't previously there. They refused to believe that the dent was from them and were not ready to fix it by themselves. In the end, I had to get it fixed through my own insurance but I told them in the face after that I will never come to your service centre and I never did. I was not alone in this. My cousin also had a Tiago and he also faced issues with them. With Skoda, it feels more like a dedicated support. Whenever I am in the service centre there has always been someone with me to assist and guide me on the progress of what's happening. I can discuss so many things with the CRM on the phone itself and plan servicing or any repair/accessory installation in advance. I can even ask them to order parts for my car well before I can come to get it installed. If I escalate issues then they take it seriously. They have given me confidence that I can bring the car to the service center at any time no matter how minor you think the issue is which wasn't the case at all with TATA. If I escalate any issue through Skoda customer care then I have seen the service center feeling the heat of it. The only frustration or disappointment so far has been that last year I had an issue with Skoda connect app. It had stopped working for some time and when it did start working it stopped throwing alerts. It took them months to get it fixed.

That Skoda projection puddle lamp comes standard with Karoq, Kodiaq, Superb and Octavia

A video about how to take care of skoda/vw cars would be really helpful for novice owners like me. I own a slavia 1.0 AT. Thanks for your very informational videos.

I had also asked this same question because for someone who has done so many videos in support of the brand and not ready to accept much criticism they should have made such a video initially and point it out with a link in description of all videos since these cars requires extra care to make them last longer.... I will tell you what I have learnt since I am planning to buy an Octavia new or used in 2025... When you start the engine first time in the morning or after a long duration, keep it idle for at least a minute for the fluids to run through the system.. Second is if you have to reach your destination, try to keep the revvs under the turbo range which is 1750 for 1.0 TSI and 1600 for 1.5 TSI and also wait for one minute before turning off the engine.. you can just follow one minute idle before turning off in this step.. Thirdly, 95 octane fuel since these cars can succumb to fuel sump and motor issues with 91 octane or regular fuel... Fourth is to check engine oil levels at least on a monthly basis especially if your running is high and top up with proper fully synthetic oil recommended in the owner's manual.. One thing to note about these cars is that they come with some modulators below the throttle due to which when you press the peddle a little hard the fuel economy can drop rapidly so be gentle on the throttle input... That's all I can think of now but do follow other channels especially if you can understand other languages since they all give valuable information

Echo in the room can be reduced using anti echo foams and panels (not sure about it though)

Aaj Ameo 2016 ki 7th service thi bhiaya, I have annual service pack which cost me around 16000 for 2 year in pack include 1- engine oil , air filter, oil filter, AC filter, spark plug, drain plug, brake fluid and coolant top up, alignment and balancing and interior dry clean and fortunately exterior washing as well i paid for brake fluid which they changed completely, brake pad and brake disc (both front). overall it cost me 7123 rupee other than my package. Remaining work lower arm replacement because lower arm bush are worn out

In our home we have Nexon and Virtus, For Nexon we get frameless wipers freely for every service. So I replaced my Virtus wiper with frameless 😂. I literlly feel like Virtus is more powered than Nexon even after 200cc lesser. AC is better in Nexon. Infotainment display is more user friendly in Virtus. Fuel efficiency and power is better in Virtus.

Very informative. I have a taigun topline and go for regular checkups of my car the staff is very cheerful and yes I accept your point of that 10-15% professionalism part . One more thing once in a month when I cold start my car the car starts missing and I get epc error light but when I turn off and on again there is no epc light. I have taigun 1.0tsi topline mt . Does anyone has this same issue ?

They also added Lock cylinder lubricant without telling me, Is this lock cylinder lubricant really required on a 1st year 15000 km service?

Hello Sir, I am first time car buyer. My first priority is safety. Looking for Petrol Automatic with CVT or TC. My driving 75% Highway and 25% heavy city traffic in Bangalore. I have finalized Taigun 1L topline automatic and Kushaq 1L style Automatic. I heard that there are AC and break noise issues in taigun 1l automatic. Are these issues are resolved? if not, are these really bothering issues? Are these issues also there in Kushaq 1L automatic? if no, are there any other issues in kushaq like rattling issues or anything. I know EPC issue got resolved in kushaq. Actually I already booked Creta Facelift 1.5 NA top model SX(o) CVT thinking that It would score 5 or atleast 4 star in GNAP or BNAP like Verna. But I don’t know when testing will get done. so cancelling it. I need a car in next 30 to 45 days. Need your help to finalize one of these cars. Waiting for your reply.

I got my Slavia serviced yesterday, it was free due to service package. Although they asked if I want to opt for wheel balancing and alignment for ₹2200 I denied.

The wiper issue is also present in my 2023 virtus, the left wiper doesn't clean properly and it's been only a year since I bought the car

Hi! With TC, you need not to worry. However, it is a good practice that please put gearbox in N during more than 2 min signals, otherwise keep in D in Bumper to Bumper traffic

Rs. 700 ke to tiago ke bhi hai wiper blades, uss hisaab se to slavia ke bahut saste hai

Those metal pedals used to be Rs9999 in polo days and now I see they are at around 2300 at VW. Though, when i ordered as a part i got it for 350 only, somehow. That was before they launched it as an accessory for 2.0 cars.

SSA Ji, Bosch surely are good if available. Do check manufacturing date & compatibility before purchasing please. An an accessory, aerotwin are not available at the official service centers

got my VW Polo 1 l TSI service at 45000 km , the service centre was trying to charge few thousand extra but when I objected they had to consider it and I had to pay Rs 8000 for my regular service.

I have style AT 1 lit .AC is good , gear and ride quality smooth ,fun and flawless . City mileage is low....it's 6 to 7 only. Highway 16.5 to 17. 3 . So it might be a concern with 1 lit ....better to go for 1 5 lit . Music system excellent. Seats excellent. Rear camera pathetic.

I have a question for you sir. What is the role of slavia as a new third car in garage when you already have a polo and Troc for yourself? Your Dad and your brother also have their respective cars for them so you all do not have to share the same cars. Just curious to know.😄

Hi Anshu Ji, dealership has that in accessories I believe (better bulbs). I would not suggest trying things outside because of the warranty issues.

Sunder Veerji! I have a doubt. I own a 1.0 Slavia as well. I bought it in June 2022. I also did not get a service package. so as per schedule (15000kms or 1 year) I got the first service done in June 2023 @12000Kms. Now, I've driven another 15000kms in less than one year, so should I wait until June to get my service? or go for it now?

I recently completed 1500 km in my Kushaq. I'm a little confused because the manual only mentions I have to go for servicee every 15k km or 1 year. I want to know if I should get the 1k km car check-up done? Car is functioning fine with no issues, so I'm not feeling the need to do it.

Don't worry after 1000 - 1200 km you will get around 10-12 in city. I have virtus and I also get the same milege for the first 1000km. I get the maximum milege of 24.8 km/l from cruise control at 85 km/h.

I am from Hyderabad and I just want to know from you guys... if paying 20,000 for a service is worth for Ameo 1.5 TDi Manual. every service they charge me 20,000 and my car is in showroom condition. bought it back in 2018, and only driven it 40,000km. its in showroom condition and only the service charge is 20,000.... they also replaced my car's battery for 10,000... and also we changed tyres, brake discs, brake pads... for 30,000 so all in all the total cost i paid in 2024 was 60,000.... is it justified..?

Hi! They are fleecing you for a few things. Each service should not cost this much. Please don’t approve everything. Simply ask for oil service & no add ons. Keep a check on consumables & don’t get them replaced just because service advisor suggest that

They also offered a service value pack for 30,000 for 2 years. But i didn't take it.

Paaji yesterday I brought home 1.0 Slavia black MT.

@@SunderdeepSingh Sorry to hear that. Here is my story....just happened. Sir, my Ford Figo Tdci old generation engine was vibrating much & difficult to start. In idle, engine was stopping & while revving the engine was vibrating much. It was not drivable. So I towed it to Ford Workshop. They diagnosed 2 injectors faulty. But after replacing them the car have same problem. Now they swapped PCM+Cluster+key from donor car & engine was running. So they said the PCM is faulty. But after installing new PCM they could not program it. So installed new Cluster & then able to program it. How is it possible that all of a sudden 2 injectors, PCM & Cluster all became faulty. The bill is huge ₹81,177. 35 days gone & fighting for a goodwill discount.

Is engine flushing even needed in petrol engines?

Afcourse I flush my scooter after 3-4 oil changes when pick up becomes sluggish.Car also needs the same If less used than surely flush it in 5th year.

Sunderdeep bhaiya if its ok with you and if its professionally ok than i request you not to use these kind of Thumbnail, the reason is every one is in hurry now a days and mostly no one wants to watch whole video or sometime open video and these kind of thumbnail may lead to negative impact, sorry but this is due my past experience on youtube. Once i came across a Video with thumbnail "Taigun leke Pachata raha hu kya? Bechani pad sakti hai kya?" when i open the videos he talked everything very positive about the car, actually that was a ownership review video and owner was completely satisfied than i asked him " if owner is happy, you liked the car so much than why such thumbnail" he answered " bhai positive thumbnail dala tha koi views nahi aae change karke ye dala to ek din me 20k views aa gae"

Sandeep Ji, that surely falls in the list of misguiding the viewer. This one does not & I am not trying to misguide the viewer at all imho. I have not crossed that thin line Bhai. There is no negative image to grab the attention. I have explained in detail about the cost that is mentioned in the thumbnail and the idea behind it surely is to catch more eyeballs to inform in a good way. It is very discouraging sometimes when you put an effort but the video isn’t lifted up by KZread because of the less click rate on thumbnail. But it is important never to cross that line. If I have done that in this thumbnail, please let me know, I will change it tomorrow because I always acknowledge genuine feedback.

Bhai ye paise vaala hai isliye itna maintenance fokat me karva rhe hai . Sorry no offence . But people who dont have budget to mantain these cars don't buy. Go for honda or toyota if you want low maintenance, baki interior me itna dam nhi hai skoda ke jitna other gaadi de rhi aajkal

24000 mein oil service pack le lijiye 4 upfront. It is at par with Honda because of the 15000 km service interval. Paise hum ne bhi lutaane ke liye nahi kamaya.

Off topic but a 3 cyclinder engine is a BIG NO NO for me whether normal or turbo charged. The vibrations and less refinement a 3 cylinder engine has are so so annoying and irritating.

@@SunderdeepSingh I know all the things you mentioned. I shared my opinion that I do not like a 3 cyclinder engine and it is a BIG NO NO for me whether normal or turbo charged. Lastly , I am surprised that how can people pay 18 or 50 lakhs for a 3 cylinder engine.... Vibrations and less refinements are so so annoying and irritating.

@@SunderdeepSingh I respect your opinion but as I said earlier I simply cannot bear / tolerate the vibrations and less refinements of a 3 cylinder. I will anyday prefer a 4 cylinder natural or 4 cylinder turbo charged engine. Also , according to me people who know this and still buy 3 cylinder engine just for the sake of turbo are fools.

Ye sab videos ka time h bhaiya apke pas, lekin mene DM kara hai, apni kushaq ke issue ke bare me apko ghanta farak ni padta... Paid videos banate ho secretly
