Love the dual nature of the car. You can be quietly trundling along the motorway on D and with a flick of the wrist into S mode, it becomes GTi.

pretty certain most people do not realise that the sound is comming from the speakers and barely from the exhaust like most modern cars it just tries to give you the feeling of driving a V8 when outside it sounds like an alright V6 not even closely as deep and full as on the inside. Just a heads up dont think this sound is what you actually get outside of the car.

I can tell ya its not the best car in the world , but in work i did drive with it and it goes better than 1.4mpi . If you have one with good condition , it can be a good car . If you put lpg to that thing , it will be really cheap to use it . Good Luck with your new car . Best regards , George

Nice ride/car but if you ran and brake for minutes and then you jumped into the wash service, doing this everytime will ovalize your brake discs. Tip for amateurs, I guess you let the car cool few minutes then you washed it :)

No, because ''air care'' is written on top of A/C knob, which was only in 2017 rs245s and gpf came in 06/2018

My cousins husband reached 190kmh in a Fiat Punto (just chip tuned). Beat that hah

and 80-120 in 3 sec , for sure , the car is not stock

Hey I have octavia vrs 34000 miles and on a cold start I can hear like a metal clacking sound few time but as I'm driving around then starting it up.again it stopes. Any advice on what can it be .?

I have rs245 as well and i dont hear metal clicking on cold start but it sounds badly because its rich on cold start to heat up catalyzator. If you hear metal sound i know, that some TSIs had problem with axle in turbo and it made metal clicking sound on every cold start.

I owned one of these. Incredible car it was and ultra practical. A shame about the DSG. It wasn’t snappy unless you were going flat out. Anything less and it was a slurry mess like a 2000’s torque converter.

its funny... my 96kw fabia rs 1.9tdi from 2004 coast me 1800€ and makes 215 speedo stock ( i mean its like 200 real) and this 180kw tuned car coast like 20k more and makes only 250 lol

Definitely not a tuned exhaust, it's as quiet as a mouse fart. This comes from someone who owns the pre-facelift octavia RS

Never understood why Skoda's like this exist. It's the same thing like imagining some sporty Dacia or Lada. The brand itself is very dull and it's popular because it offers cheap and practical normal cars. But when you make a sporty version out of a practical/cheap car, the car quickly changes to be an unpractical/not so cheap car, therefore losing all the perks that the brand can offer. End result is that you get a somewhat quick car that loses in practicality over the standard version, plus it costs more. And that you're still driving a Skoda.

I recommend that you try one with a tune. They're pretty nice then. Would take this car over any BMW etc.
