Definitely fiat, Skoda and volkswagens are pretty underrated in India what we can't deny is the fact that they're feature loaded , safe and a great value for money package(mostly) but yet a fun to drive Punchy package all of the time

I have the 2008 skida fabia 1.3 diesel. Still the performance and its mileage makes me happy. It has very stiff suspension but in city and highways i love ro drive it

Škoda and Vw should build a new platform for india and launch Fabia and Polo once again

We have a 2011 Fabia. Still works like a dream, never failed us ever on any trip.Even for a hatchback, the interior space is easily more than any modern raised hatchback. p.s: All Fabia are Euro NCAP 4 stars rated since 2000 ;)Current crop is 5 stars.

My family used to own a Fabia. It was an amazing car then. Skoda should relaunch the car in India with more features.

i have the 2013 skoda fabia and its just amazing, the raw feel it gives me everytime i drive its just amazing. no matter whatever cars i own i will always have a space for the fabia in my heart.

This Skoda Hatch eats everything in Indian Market ❤

No it doesn't...Hyundai i20 N does....it produces 200bhp...meanwhile this Fabia produces 150bhp and 250nm torque only. Even Indian spec verna produces 158bhp and 254m torque. So no it won't eat everything in Indian market 😂

For everyone wanting this Fabia 1.5, the Kushaq 1.5 is the closest sibling. Engine sounds exactly the same and performs just like in the video. You can get the Ambience variant for 17-19 lakh. No better thrill in this price.

german engineering is something u get to appreciate as u spend more and more time with the car,,,...small thing u come across...makes u feel how well engineered these cars are

@@sebaslive3476 you are completely wrong. Right now, Škoda folks are responsible not only for the Škoda ICE engines etc but actually for ICE inner guts of VW, too. Also, Passat which is produced in the Slovak capital along with Superb, is completely designed and updated by Škoda, despite the VW logos.

Lots of European carmakers are obsessed with the complete transition to EVs only, the EU wants that around 2035. I think it won't happen. In the world, Toyota seems to easily reject the end of the ICE era. BMW is somewhat close. Inside the VW group, the German Škoda CEO Klaus Zellmer says that Škoda will offer ICE as long as people want them, and it is legal. With the clear collapse of the EV demand or growth, we the opponents of EV only plans seem to gain the authority. On top of that, almost everyone in the West is terrified that China may beat any Western carmakers. I don't really share this fear. The low prices there are partly subsidized and it can be fought by tariffs, and it cannot really work permanently on subsidies, anyway.

We have skoda fabia 2010-2012 model which is 2.50 lakh + driven and it still runs so smooth tht u can’t even makeout that the car is actually that old bt the only problem is maintenance 💀

​@@SDBoral007I20 costs way more originally in European markets than being cheapy priced comparatively in India due to massive feature deletes, base trim parts of Euro I20 on top trims of Indian spec, no 48V hybrid, lesser quality & innovations on interior, etc still making it a good hatchback for India other than it being available only in 1.2L n.a form which keeps price in check. The Skoda Fabia can come too with downgrade version for India, although less better, it'll still be a great hatch for affordable price.

13:17 Length of Euro I20 is also more than Ind which has been unplannedly chopped resulting in worser boot space otherwise I20 would have been longest hatch in India. Euro I20's are wider and lower to the ground too, though I'm not sure with it's 3rd gen form.
