The size of the tires is an unintuitive thing. The /45 at the front and the /40 at the rear are percentages of the width of the tires. So in the front ones, the "height" is 45% of 235, while in the rear ones it's 40% of 255, which should probably end up being about the same (I didn't do the calculations to verify exactly, but more or less).

I also reviewed the Skoda Enyaq coupe RS in my channel! I must say its very promising, it was desirable, and good value for money!

Fantastic Car

I guess the 180km/h max speed is better than on the normal models (160km/h) but it still isn't great. Especially for Autobahn runs.

More than enough

Nice car, but too long for my garage, stick to my Cupra Born I have ordered, the advantages of having only 1 child!

Seems it's too noisy inside I can hear the tires and every bump. What would you say comparing it to Jaguar I-Pace or Audi E-Tron? PS Thanks for the great review!

Hi! I have seen some of your videos and I like them! Perfect level on the information for me. :-) I drive an Enyaq IV80 and I have a question about the range. In the sales info they have stated 530km range. I know it can differ and all that, and counting on the degradation of the battery is a whole science... But anyway how is it possible to defend "degradation " from 530km to 390km at 100% charging after 8000km and 6 month?

Thanks, have you accurately tested it. Or are you just looking at the range displayed? The display differs on consumption of the last 50km.

@@BatteryLife I have tried a little bit to understand how it all works, but there is a lot to learn. Know I know about the 50 km. Perfect. But I have a long distance consumption of 17.3 kWh/100 km which is also stated for Enyaq as an average consumption. And I guess that that number isn´t the upper edge but rather the lower edge to attract purchases of the car. How low in consumption do I need to go to reach the 530 km goal?

@@brub5174 Yes of course. I have noticed that this winter. 250 km at 80% was not unusual. But 390km at 100% was a number with a warm climate and smooth speed at max 111km/h. It would be nice to see the selling figures at least when the car is new. Is`t perhaps in linear speed in 90 km/h for like 3 charging times?

@@bmw_ixen I hope it's range stays, I am going to order the 80 model, i do a lot of road, so we'll see how that's goes. Do you have the heat pump? I read that the wltp ranges are based on models with heat pump.

You could just see the "since charge" data and avoid resetting at 96percent ;)

I hope the enyaq gets the new CATL 3.0 battery .then i will buy it

The coupe is a real beauty.

Does that sound noisy? Road surface is echoing in the car!

No, it was fine.

Stupid question would it possible to calculate what the consumption and range would be at average speed of 100 km/h? I think this 130 km/h target speed is really good at showing how good EVs already are, but I think 100 km/h would give a good indication what to expect in more "normal" use cases.

You can't infer one from the other as both drag and rolling resistance determine the range.

if you look at Teslabjorns tests, he did a range test where he was trying to drive economical. He managed over 560km, but I guess he was mostly driving in 70-80kph and with AC off. I think you should expect a range close to the WLTP for normal use, probably 450-470km.
