Living in a climate where boots are a necessity come winter, thank you Diana for a very informative video. That being said; as to high shaft ones (beyond the ankle and mid calf) my preference are those that snugly fit the calf rather than those which are slouchy as feel they are more polished in appearance whether they are flat or with a heel. JMO and of course to each their own.

Again this video was very helpful! Given the heavy ice and snow I can’t wear the shoes with heels, but perhaps in early fall or in the spring these looks would be more practical. Thanks again for a very informative video. I always look forward to your lessons.

@@americafirst9144 A friend relayed a story that when he went to the ER recently there were many people in there who had fallen on the ice. Some boots have retractable cleats which can be retracted when worn inside. Many establishments ask you to remove your cleats so these retractable cleats appeal to me. Perhaps it will be my next winter boot purchase as many of these look pretty stylish.

Thank you! I use anti-static spray or if you don’t have it on hand, you can always use hair spray.

The white with black stripes from the video is ribbed knitted. Flat Riding boots or heeled ankle boots work nice or even over the knee, as long as the edge of the boot is covered by the hemline.

Calzedonia has nice printed ones, Cos and H&M, or if you want something more chic, Gucci tights is a very good investment. I bought ones 3 years ago , and still wear them.

Ankle boots with midi or maxi skirts are everywhere and i just hate it. As you said, it is an uncomfortable and unflattering mix. Also, short and petite women are often told that ankle boots are better to elongate our figure and in my experience is a big mistake. Mid-calf or knee-length are much betterr

Let be the styles but I cannot wear pointed toes and boots which are high heels as they are so uncomfortable

This video was very helpful, even if I normaly wear only mini lenght in winter. I would have liked to see with witch colour tights you would pair white kneehigh boots with a mini skirt. Only with nude ones? Or would you exceptionaly choose a transparent colour that match the skirt? My skirt is in tweed with many tones of blue and some white too. So the white kneehigh boots look very stylish with it, it's a 60ies vibe 😊. But I'm uncomfortable wearing nude tights in winter.(I wear a white tight rollneck pullover and a lightblue (matching the tweed skirt) coat.

A question on the quality and durability of your sponsors products. It is clearly a fast fashion brand, just from the number of styles dropped per week, but many companies are. How is the quality after 10 or 20 wears and washes? Is there any information about where it is produced? And finally, when receiving it in Europe, then there is taxes on, correct?

Thank you for this question! I honestly only work with the brands I test myself and as you see, most of them are featured in my videos not for the first time. I really appreciate the trust of my followers and therefore very careful about the products and quality I present. Most people cannot afford buying designer or branded clothes, so I try to show a very good yet affordable alternative. And honestly I wear all I show in daily life. as for the duties I am not sure you need to pay anything extra, most of the time . I will check it and come back to you.

Hi. I am in the UK and would not recommend Urban Revivo as their returns policy makes the buyer pay - I returned shoes for a bigger size and I had to pay for international shipping which cost me £50 sterling. I complained and was offered a 30% reduction on a purchase. When I reluctantly agreed I did not hear back.. I think their policy of non US customers having to pay for returns is not acceptable.. I quite like their stuff but it is not so good it is worth such a headache and this policy has put me off. Only buy in Europe if you are confident on the fit and do not return. I love our Diana but admit to being disappointed that UR was being showcased.

I respect your styling advice regarding long skirts with short/long boots, however, it does not work for some ladies with fuller figures. For example, my calves are quite wide, very unfortunately, and I cannot wear long boots since I simply cannot find sold anywhere ones with a shaft wide enough for me (at least, not stylish and high quality ones). I have purchased various interesting styles and different colors short boots and feel confident about how I style them with long skirts (which is another element of my outfits dictated by my fuller figure). It is unfortunate that you made a comment that the short boots with long skirts look outdated. I guess, those of us with my challenge who live in a location where there is cold winter will just have to live with looking outdated, as considered by some… Based on my sense of aesthetics, though, I agree with the first comment - I personally have always found the look of long boots with long skirts weird, making the legs look very bulky and taking away from the feminine look of the skirt, esp. long pencil skirts. I think that your advice is more a personal taste and preference than a styling rule. You are very slim and look amazing in any outfit but some of us have limitations that we have to work with when stying our outfits. Love your videos, though, I find them very helpful.

They work with all the hemlines as long as the edge goes under it. I d go for flat and suede ones, they look more elegant and chic, or those in fabric.

I believe the knee high boots and long skirt trend will go away soon because it doesn't really work as the top of the boots breaks the flow of the skirt when you move and makes the skirt look weird.

Weird thing happened the other day. I went to wear my boots and one is missing. I don't have a dog. I don't have kids. I rarely wear these boots. I'm bummed.
