The color analysis studio channel has some videos with warm people. It's really nice because they have analysis of autumns and springs from different subseasons

The channels I follow on insta etc it is always the warm colours and I am myself cool and I cannot relate to anyone xD

Oh no really? That’s very unfortunate. We need to start a club of cool toned people! Just in conversations that’s I’ve had with people I’ve heard of quite a few summers but we need them to do content!

I'm so glad you made this video! I've watched over 100 colour analysis videos and this is the first time I see someone with a colouring so close to mine. Up until know I've been convinced I'm a Light Spring, but this video opens a door to the True Spring option. Thanks 🌞

I’ve done a full 180 on it. Now it’s my favourite but at the start I wasn’t sure if it was too bright!

Aw thank you! It’s amazing what the right tone and shade can do for a person!

The great hack about color analysis is to use those colors close to your face while you can get away with others on your pants. Like if you wear a black pants wear a top in your color palette and it looks great. Wearing a black dress, wear a scarf in your color and you can get away with the dress etc. it’s all about how close to you face it is. Great hack

Definitely a great hack!!! No need to be head to toe in your palette so long as what’s closer to your face brightens you up!

Amazing to see her skin change with the right color! I am also a True Spring, very similar coloring. What is the name of the TS pink/purple...is it a lilac ish color? That was stunning on her! Love that color next to the poppy!

Thank you! I loved that purple also. I’m going to guess based off of a quick colour guide that it was either lilac or orchid.

Really good analysis. It's a shame finding exactly the right shade in an item of clothing is virtually impossible unless it is black or white.

Samantha did an in person colour analysis for me about 6 months ago. She was fantastic. Unfortunately I’m a True Autumn, ha ha. Even though I was initially shocked, she was bang on. I’ve changed my hair colour, makeup, clothing and accessories (still working on these). I owned a ton of black and had an almost exclusively cool wardrobe. A lot of people thought I was cool because I have pink in my surface face colour but Samantha was absolutely right that I’m warm. Now I’m seeing just how flattering it is to wear the right colours. Samantha is also a lovely person. I would highly recommend her to someone interested in getting their colours analyzed.

I’m still not sure how I’m going to be able to true spring in winter…like am I that person to rock bright yellow with snow outside? I think the answer is yes, but only time will tell. And I liked Samantha so much, I’m bringing her back to help me with future podcast outfits so stay tuned!

Still trying to figure out my palette, but your coloring is very much like mine, and im thinking true spring, too. The lightest colors of spring seem TOO unsaturated for me and bright spring seems TOO bright... Light summer appears too unsaturated ss well. Ive thought i could be soft Summer or soft autumn, but im bright like you, with same natural hair color and medium blue grey eyes. NOW my hair is about a quarter grey.... Which throws a kink into the palette AGAIN. I am 54. Turning 55 around Thanksgiving.

Haha I totally hear you about the grey hair because if you’re a true spring, grey isn’t in that palette. Regardless, I’m sure it’s beautiful and the right colours should still pop given your skin tone and eye colour. Also I think your personality somehow shines through. How do people describe you? For me, I get loud, upbeat, passionate, funny. All seems pretty springy to me!

@@Laurastewartto Depends on who you ask, I suppose!... I can be a little bit sarcastic... Mostly reserved, mostly introverted. I can lead if I have to... Definitely not a party girl... I like adventure and running on the treadmill and nature and being outside and spending time with family members.

I have not watched the whole video yet so I’m unsure of when they talked about this store.. but I know there is a french brand that is called Sezane! maybe that’s it!?❣️

Yes Sezane is a French store that ships all over. The quality is incredible and they have the same basic items in 8 colours! So most people can find at least one colour within their palette at any given time!

That’s the truth! Sadly most stores carry the same range of colours: black, white and the colour of the season. If you find any good colourful stores let me know!

I liked the “heavy” gold on her better.

Oh summer is wonderful though! It’s soft, angelic and laid back! Lean into it! Also consider how your personality might mesh with that season also. There’s a lot of positivity in summer!

Aaaah! I wanna scream. This makes me so upset and sad. She is 100 % a summer type. Its so easy to see, even through the screen as their is no (!) Doubt whatsoever. One of her best colors is light grey. If u dont believe me, get a 2nd opinion. One of your best colors are light jeans blue, rose pink, all greyish cold colors. The only colors from spring that suit u r the blue and the cold green as they are COLD bc u r summer. So gold makes u so pale but silver harmonizes with u. I cant believe how ppl cant see it thenselves. Its rly weird. These warm colors make u so pale :(

I thought the darker gold looked wayyyy better on her. Her skin looks clearer, her eyes pop with it, and it brings more colour to her lips. She’s definitely a soft or true autumn.

Appreciate the feedback! I had two people mention they like the darker gold better so maybe I’m on the cusp. I’ve had my colours done twice independently and both experts said I was a true spring. But hey, maybe that means I can dabble a bit into another season 😉
