And that's exactly why many AFK mobile games are earning lot of money you know.. Either you hate it or love it, but despite of criticizing AFK games "not being" TRUE game or not, you cant' really blame every single person who literally don't have time anymore as adults when those adults literally feel greatful for at least being able to play AFK games.

0:24-0:29 Did Britt have that breastplate in the "Turning Into an NPC" episode? Because she said she got it for "defeating the Monks of High Hurgspire with no psychic damage protection," and Ben in that episode was trying to create an Amulet of Clarity -- an item that GIVES psychic damage protection -- for Britt but then he got sidetracked making other items for other players If she did NOT have that breastplate in that episode, that implies she actually DID go on ahead without Ben and defeated the Monks by herself. What I simply love about these sketches is that although its comedy, BOTH sides raise some absolutely great points. A. buying your way through a game simply takes away from the experience and undermines the value of the gameplay overall and B. Spending money in a game shouldnt be looked down upon! It's their money, they worked hard for it, and they should be able to treat themselves now and then, however C. be careful not to overspend. It's important to have a balance and be able to enjoy the game without completely diluting it with money. Really good stuff here.

I agree with having visuals that match your skill level, for several reasons. 1. It kinda is the only reward for playing long time. Yes players that can only go online are not able to get them, and their money helps the game, but if there wasnt a base population of people who really work for this things im pretty sure those spontaneous players would take their money to another game. So bottomline here devs need to spoil that player base more than the casuals. 2. P2W or P2Fashion discourages people that cant pay anything beyond the basic game cost 3. P2W and P2Fashion discourages all players from doing the harder endagame content, why would you spend time, go through all the deal of making friends to grow together, learn tactics and strategy, to defeat the harder content, if you can get same or better rewards with moms credit card? All of this being said. I play GW2 Guild Wars 2 (awesome game btw) they have both things they have P2Fashion and they have Significantly different fashion items for hard workers also specific titles and badges that anyone can see and are earned by playing. So this is kinda the perfect model. Now the debate i want to open here is this: GW2 is about 15 years old so at the begining the fashion distinction was real, but over time so many players (even those that only come occassionaly) ended up with the hardworking armors and weapons. So a big portion of the game population can have your same "special" gear, making it "not so special" because so many people has it. So perhaps those who thought "you got to earn it" didnt really meant it, perhaps the message was "i want to look unique because ive done things you havent" and perhaps when everyone gets those things done, you no longer feel unique and whats your reaction going to be...? In GW2 they "solved" this by releasing hundreds of fashion items both payed and earned, and you can mix any combination, making it almost infinite possible wardrobe options, to a point that you can wear some of your hard earned visuals and some payed/or easy earned, still look unique use the visuals you really like (not only those that show your experience) but at the same time your hard earned visuals are still there to remind people that even if you wear farmer clothes (because you like them) you still have the floating orbs of the legendary amulets that show you are a big deal in the game.

Globallly we are slowly shifting to 4 day work week, more balance and time for yourself. For the Utopia, we need robots that farm the food, cook the food, create clothing, cars and electronics, so it would be dirt cheap to afford them. If governments employ the robots it would be possible to give basic income to all unemployed citizens. Many people would quit and the human jobs (that require thinking) their wages would skyrocket in order to recruit people, so the working class would be able to afford expensive things. While the unemployed would be able to afford the cheap things that robots create and focus on hobbies and possibly monetizing them (gaming, sports, writing, singing)

@@tsvetomiriliev5804 Yeah, if you're a reptilian billionaire, maybe. Tech has not made life more affordable. Birth rates are down, homeownership is down, BlackStone and BlackRock sweep up a combined 16 trillion in real estate... The only way you're getting a 4-day work week is if you live in a pod, own nothing, and slurp bugs every night before bed.
