The woodcutter sketch... it's pretty cool that as tech advanced, games started adding those details in rather. 2:59 In most games I've played, when you sell to an NPC, you get significantly less money for it then what it would cost to buy that same item from them. So by that logic, the NPC should be very happy you are selling him all those expensive items, because he could sell them for much more ( so instead of it killing his children they would get to live in a mansion) Granted, in reality it wouldn't work that way because of supply and demand ( but then the shopkeeper also wouldn't be forced to buy from you )

I saw a theory I really liked that the gold used to buy and sell expensive items to adventures is actually the King's money for players to save the Kingdom, so poor merchants can't use that gold without getting into major trouble. The NPC'S are only allowed to keep gold if they earn it by growing or making items themselves to sell.

I gotta be honest with you, I want to start a GoFundMe just to get The Garlic Farmer's wife and kid back to him. How much of a bribe you think it would take to get them to write that in a future episode? This story actually gets to me (as a husband and dad) on a personal level. It was horribly and beautifully written and the actor hit it out of the park in his portrayal. These guys do comedy well, but when they tip their hand at drama, they can rip your damn heart out. I'm starting a movement, "Give The Garlic Farmer his family back." LOL.

I had a video idea recently after finishing a game I really enjoyed. It would be awesome if you guys could capture that lonely feeling of a completed game where all the NPCs only have a few dialogue options and the world suddenly feels empty. Being overpowered but it’s useless because there is no challenges left. I know y’all did something kinda similar in a previous video with the chores but this is another reality. 🤞

The NPC'S are only allowed to keep gold if they earn it by growing or making items themselves to sell.

Not quite the only one. That tinfoil npc mentioned in patch notes is obviously one, and the grave diggers have more than once discussed game mechanics, being fully aware of their situation. Even Baradun, uncharacteristically, tried to make the woodcutter see his very existence for what it is. Bodger the Blacksmith, too, seems to be in the know, implicated by the way he trolls players now and then.

Hamish being forced to buy all that stuff sucks, but at least now he gets to sell it all to the next chump (or even the very same guy!) for like 10x the price! :) Side Note: you guys should totally do a win skit for hamish where an adventurer DOES accidentally sell his main sword or something and now has to buy it back for a huge mark up. Maybe the adventurer decides it would be easier just to kill him and take it back and he gets massacred by hamish a la "crazy strong npcs" fashion!
