@@Balbaneth My problem is that some unit feel clunky as hell to play without Sig. A sig like CW that just makes her do a lot more damage is fine by me for spender. While gimping the way a character plays is pretty cringe. People will tell you to roll for everyone but then tell you that Lee without sig is cope. So what is it ?

​@@jijidu69the people who say lee is cope without sig are the same who skip him. Literally nobody would in good faith tell you that lee is sig or skip. Vera garnet for example gets a LOT out of her sig and not just QoL if you've ever played her with and without sig you know how much of a difference it makes and yet NO ONE argues it's sig or skip, vera isn't just the meta tank for lightning she's the dps. The same goes for lee, he will be the dps for fire for a year and even after that share field time with the team, just because his sig unlocks his real potential doesn't mean he is unplayable. The people claiming that are the ones who are coping about skipping him, they say that so they can feel good about themselves when they should hone up to the fact they are making an off meta pulling decision. If you want to skip lee don't try and argue you're making 4D chess move, you're not.

There is a big portion who are just holding on their BCs for either CW or Snow petal, and the whole trash talk is just a way to pat themselves in the back.

@@ebering4.039 My guy you are just wrong, I just have to state that. SSS just reduces the switch in to others by 2s while also having more shred. Wata can do his whole rotation back to back twice and Lee would have just finished from his 8 seconds cooldown from his first rotation. So yes wata does out DPS Lee no debate.

​@kmgseventeen4030 you can for sure get CW if you have the monthly pass & save up your weekly BC. You wont have enough for their signature weapon though, which is a big powerspike for them.

I’m not skipping Lee, mainly due to he is voice by one of my favorite EN VA as well as I don’t have Mecha Nanami. I sadly had to skip her and Lightning Vera during their releases mainly due to their banners being released during a time I had midterms and finals, plus it was my last semester of university so my focus was on my studies. And a lack of BC. I am hoping to get them in the future but until then, I got my Lightning Bianca and SSS+ Chrom and Liv to keep me going. And Fire Katarina for my Fire team.

I pulled Lee Hyperreal today & got his 5 star weapon and he’s great! I’m having so much fun playing him, I’m so glad I pulled❤️‍🔥 edit: I got the 6star weapon now🙏

This is so true. I'm a casual player and the reason I'm skipping a lot of characters were because I don't play a lot. I'm not skipping Lee though lol

I feel like this is only applied to meta/ semi-meta players. For casual players, I agree with the third comment, who cares anyways? Pull for who you want. For instance, I skipped Alpha and Bianca Stigmata because I did not like their design and playstyle respectively. I also skipped Nanamech because..well, I felt like I wasn't playing with Nanami, but instead a gundam. The rigid movement and robotic skills is also not my type.

As for Free s rank selector in cw patch for Empy.... I'll have to wait for 2 patches long to be able to use Hyperreal Lee in wz correctly. Actually that's better than waiting for Lamia patch ngl. Although Empy won't have SIG tho. I need guidance that actually looks from both sides of my problem.

People are saying to skip because he is the weakest of gen 2. But that doesnt mean hes weak. As for me im just missing a fire attack unit so im getting him and his sig weapon. Ill ss him through pain cage. The next s rank is ayla who is suppose to be free. So that lets me stack more cards till the new alpha drops.

I have a sss plume with her sig weapon reso 3 with chrome glory ss and wanshi 5 star weap. I use that team on lightning war zone :P Account made from launch. Why I skilled Vera and lightning Bianca...well I have them on my other account. And the extra bc used to gacha coatings and signature weapons :l Oh man...back before balter.... I used ice team on all war zone stages besides fire since I have a built nanamech and liv amp. Yeah I feel like skipping a gen and get next gen...lots of time to save bc. And yes I'm kinda a casual. But I will pull for hyper Lee and skip Watanabe fire tank since I have nanami and I plan to get her leap if she recieves it

Skipping Lee is a mistake. Your Fire Team will suffer in Warzone, and particularly Pain Cage (Luna already requires quite a bit of DPS, while Moon Devourer coming soon will require even more).

Im on the fence since I only have S liv amp. Will her & S lee outperform my fully decked out physical team on fire warzone? I average around 550k-600k.

It's kinda balance cuz physical team doesn't even have second gen tank ,the same goes for lighting team while Fire team has empyrea and nanami plus gen 3 uncle upcoming 😂 so I guess they make lee kinda weak compared to other attackers

people who say he gets powercrept by watanabe must be whales because watanabe is only on par with lee at SS3 and is only better than lee at SSS. And since they are whales they should pull lee regardless so I dont know why this misconception has been spreading around.

the only bad thing about lee is his 8sec cooldown. bianca, lee and alpha are on my summon list ps: I dont use that much teams, just one op dps and some supports, like my bianca with whatever and Im good with her

he has an 8 second cooldown because hes meant to be swapped off. He cant onfield forever like Bianca. His weapon and SS literally also need you to swap off in order to work.

My boy, us skipping lee is not actually about lee being kicked by buffed nanamech and the new fire tank wata. We're actually more hyped to have CW. We're saving for her to SSS, and just can't afford to spend BC to lee patch as for we don't know if we'll have luck or be on a hard pity gang.

About skipping: If u re not a super money spending player you ve got only 2 options Either you got all teams average on S ranks, or u got couple of absolute tremendous teams stacked with SSS and you other teams will suffer from lack of power. I m skipping Lee because my fire team sucks, and he alone wont change that situation, but when CW finally come to global I ll upgrade her to 7k immediately and pair with my SSS Garnet. Getting an unbeatable lighnting team as a result

your bc, your choice. seems you got into this game due to waifu reasons (SSS garnet), so I aint gonna tell ya what char to pull or not. But the "Lee alone will not change anything" is quite wrong, say you have literally 0 fire char. 1 lee pull + Nanamech or Liv during CW's patch already nets you 2 top tier fire team members. But if you're going to get Vera garnet to SSS+ via the selector then it's also fine since it's your account.

I'm gonna be honest here, people should just play the game the way they want to play. For someone like me whos been playing since before global and has thousands of hours on the game, skipping lee is out of the question; however, for someone who just is playing to have a good time, let them do what they want. Games are supposed to be fun so if someone wants to save enough bc to SSS+ BRS cuz they like her so much, who am I to judge? That might make the game fun for them. Of course I am also massively against the mega misinformation that lee is bad for meta being spread, the whole drama is just really dumb.

Meta wise. Yes it is very dumb. But there are no amount of riches you can give me to put up with Plumes gameplay. There is more to the game than high score, so it is understandable why some skip S ranks in favor of more fun A ranks even if they underperforme as a result. And hey I skipped Garnet, Plume and Veritas, yet I still made it to the leaderboard in The last Babel. So you can definitely have a lot of success even when you skip cuz the game is not that hard.

So what is the problem with lee ? Because he is bad without sig ? That all ? A lot of characters already on the same states but it still fine. Now i personaly don't want to pull him because he's a dude and i don't like this dude from the start of the game, BUT i have 33k BC left, somebody can help me with the BC outcome, if i pull him can i pull the the next(s) characters (i see a collab somewhere), how much will cost the next one and the others for future. I'll stopped monthly 3-4 months and stopped the game ~ 20 day, but i consider monthly if needed. Thx for the help my boy's commander of gray raven bis in a parallel world.

But getting every S rank is not even an option tho, if you want to build your DPS's properly you're going to need their weapon, I'm sitting on 47k BC right now, and I did some quick calculations, and from here 'till Qu's banner, I'm gonna have to skip 1 character, or I won't be able to keep up on BC. Obviously I didn't count anniversaries or other kinds of rewards, or straight up luck, but still, getting every single character is not an option, you can get the weapons later, but still, when is that gonna be if you're already behind on BC

Skip, if u: 1. Have plan for next character (your waifu, sss, etc...). 2. U r not a whale. 3. Your fire team suck (dont have empyrea/starfarer) AND your other team r missing A key character (In this situation is lightning team, ayla ice free anyways) Dont just skip bcs of u know who the next s fire tank is. Unless you are new or returnee without BCs, I fail to find who actually gives a f*ck to people urging other players skipping Lee.

I've posted this in other videos, and I will do the same here: My reasons for skipping Lee, in no particular order of relevance, are: 1. I am 100% F2P, and my BCs are very limited. 2. I could not get Empyrea back in the day, and I do have Nanamech, but I HIGHLY dislike her playstyle (Here you can see an example where I did get a META character, spending tons of my very limited resources into a character I ended up NOT liking, just to cope with the so called "META"). 3. I Dislike Lee as a character. 4. I would rather save my BCs for future characters that I actually would like to get and play. 5. I made up my mind about sidelining my Fire team and boosting all my other teams instead. I have very strong Physical and Lightning teams, a META-wise OK Dark Team (I love playing Rozen and 21. miss me with Karen Scire) and an OK Ice team with Plume and Wanshi + building Glory atm. I will not attend my Fire team until BRS comes, so there is that. all of this combined drove me to pick what I think is the most reasonaly course of action: Hyperskipping Hyperreal. Skipping characters can always be choice.

Skipping Lee because i got no good fire tank/support😂. Pulling for him is just a waste of BC

What baffles me is that just a week ago everybody was clamoring you could get every character in the game and that skipping any gen 2 unit for any reason like weapon or cub was a bad idea. Now people are trying to cope that their decision makes sense, skipping lee is objectively a bad idea and there is no RATIONAL way to justify this. The only way you can is by using irrational arguments like needing the cub or the coating of a specific character. If you want to skip lee, please do but don't bullshit your way out of this. You're making a conscientious decision to go off meta so hone up to it and don't try justifying it rationally with bs like "lee is bad"
