alexander the awesome there’s plenty of shoes that look just as good or even better than Jordan’s. The thing that Jordan’s have is consistency in their silhouettes (when they first started now it’s rare to see a new good looking silhouette). The designs of the shoe were all different and all for the most part really cool looking and innovative at the time. Tinker hattendfield designed most of them, jordan really needs to thank him if anything. Without his designs I don’t think Jordan’s would be as popular now. Back when jordan was playing maybe but they wouldn’t be as classic if it weren’t for those really cool designs of tinker.

And to this day, (being 43 now), I can never forget what I said to my friend wearing them "oh my gosh, what trainers are those?" "Nike Air Jordan 4" "Those are the best trainers I have ever seen"...They then got re-released in 1999 and I was on the HUNT...my bro got them, in the White Cement and a few months later the 5s came out and I got those in the Black Metallic Silver

I wore many bball shoes in my time..if i had my penny 2s on defenders were in for a long game!

Those are my favorite! I even walked weird and careful so as to not crease the toes hehe coz I really love my 11s.

That year I personally think the Penny 1 was and still is one of the best shoes ever.

This was Awesome, the more these talk shows talk about sports related topics, and not just contracts or last night's highlights, the better. There's literally decades of material to cover that the younger generation has either no idea about or finds incredibly interesting

@Arcell Mcgowan, nawww bro, I would get the Tim Duncan Silver foamposits before those. Man, I've always wanted a pair of those. I wouldn't put them at number 2, but yeah. I like Tim's more then Penny's. If I were to go for a fav of a nba players shoes after Jordans. It would have to be Iverson's first shoes, the white ones with the red tips. I still have mine after all these years that I keep in a box but I need find a fresh brand new pair.

The Foams are Penny’s signature shoe. They never were a Duncan shoe even though he might have worn them

11s and 1s are givens but my Favorite 3 are 1.Cement 4 2.Infrared 3. Bred 3 . Even 7 raptors with the sole😍

The All Stars are fashionable to this day, teens all love them.

Can’t forget Cement 4s, Infrared 6s, OG 20s, Last Shot 14s....iconic kicks.

The 11's are legendary. My favorite pair of Jordan's of all time.

That shoe sold in out in 3hrs when I was in 9th grade...96 was a great year.. definitely my favorite sneaker of all time

The I’s started it all, but the XI took it to another stratosphere (and this coming from someone who’s favorite Jordan is the VI).

I looove the 12s and they’re my favorite too, but the Concord 11s are the pinnacle of the line. The 12s are more comfortable and rugged, but the 11s are king 👑😂

I recall when 11s first had came out they sat on the shelves for a few weeks and them numbers started moving and the hype began... But they iconic 👍🏽💯

Of course. The Air Jordan 11 is definitely my all-time favorite. I remember when they were released in the 95-96 season. Even other NBA players were wearing them during that time. Shannon is right about the patent leather. That just set them apart from any other shoe.

Jordan 11s for sure. I had the original playoff ones i was 16 years old. I still remember the smell. I had those all star 2000s. Those were nice too. Wish they would re release those.

Facts my top 3 of all time when it comes to Jordans

The Jordan 14s were the best for performance. They were very comfortable, lightweight, and had great traction. I owned the 11s also and they were not the best. I owned the original Jordans from 1 to 14.

BRED 11’s, ONES, LEGEND BLUE. CONCORD ARE NICE TOO!! Several others, but these are my favorites.

Do you know how gamma blue 11s fit im usually a size 9.5(uk) but I was thinking about sizing up to size 10s beacuse I heard they fit small especially around the toe box area because of the hard patent leather, and on my 720s I find that my big toe keeps getting pressed up against the hard plastic bit but all my other toes have quite alot of space.

To be that all time great on the court, and have the greatest shoe line as well, is just insane. Jordan’s legacy will never be forgotten, because his shoe line/Jordan brand will be forever

The 11, 12 and 13 Jordan’s in my opinion are the greatest run on signature shoe design ever.
