Can't tell the difference between the car and the skip.

Definitely something collapsed under the nsr stabiliser leg, you can see the osr wheel clear of the floor! I bet it must have been one hell of a moment for the operator, last thing he needed was someone screaming about a car! Well handled by the operator to bring it down safely and without hitting the precious car!

If it's overloaded the driver shouldn't have attempted the lift. That part is totally his responsibility not the people who filled the skip. He should have refused

Wouldn't of been a bad idea if he did total it. It looks like a piece of crap anyway and would of done us all a favour.

You really think the driver continue lifting till he was at a 50 degree angle??? My guess is that the damn skip was overloaded and something gave way, tipping the truck suddenly and scaring the hell out of the driver. Only ones at fault are the ones parking their cars like that and the ones who overloaded the skip.

It might have been half way up and then legs gave way and skip headed for the floor and cab ended up that high.

8 yard skip for hardcore is fine. Skip driver knows this. You left skips cos youre either no good at it. Or. More likely you're fat. Good skip driver is paid more than boring fat container driver.

It's obvious the landing gear dug itself into the ground after it lifted the skip.

Arms are too far out the further out they go the less weight they can lift and with the added factor of the legs this could have been prevented with thick blocks of wood underneath them

Is there a reason for not moving all the cars? It's like your first thought wasn't to get your car keys and move the car, it was to grab your phone and record. The driver is at fault too.. As soon as you feal/see your front rising, common sense kicks in and you fucking put the bin down. I guess common sense isn't too common these days.

I suspect a drain collapsed suddenly at the back stabilisers.

Skip isn't that heavy. He thought he could do exchange without putting his legs down. He was OK until he extended the arms to put it in the empty skip. That's why the lorry is so high. He recovered well. I'd give him a job. He won't make that mistake again.

Kudos to the skip guy. Me personally, I'd move my car rather than video it. I'm old fashioned I know. I even tie my trainers properly

I think your lucky the driver didn’t mistake that scrap heap for the skip and do us all a favour.

No level load there on the skip, well over loaded, looks like bricks/block, skip driver should’ve refused to take it, however he did, he messed up, but, he also got that truck back down safely, no damage or injuries, so nicely done 👍💪

Nah, that's what the company insurance is for. They would certainly investigate whether or not the fault was his own, or something like the ground collapsing under the feet though.
