Longevity and totality don't mean squat. Kareem's longevity is better than MJ. Doesn't mean he's greater. Antawn Jamison has 20K points and 10K rebounds by playing so long. Nobody puts him in the HoF.

Karl Malone has greater longevity than Larry Bird. Nobody puts Karl over Larry. Even if say Karl won it all in 1997 and 1998, I still wouldn't put him over Larry. I have Kobe over Duncan because Kobe's peak was higher & better H2H.

Shannon should just shut up because he is so blinded by his idolizing of LeBron that he didn’t see the truth. Michael did what no other team player couldn’t have done. He was mean at times, and wanted his players to get tough for the playoffs. He did as a player what head coaches do, but he led by example. No other player ever did that, coupled with the fact that he had to over come so much to win his games. Michael to me never sought out to be the goat, he sought to win every battle he ever engaged in. In doing that he did become the best player ever, plus the game was very physical, not the soft game it has evolved to become. Was he perfect of course not, but that drive made winners out of his teammates.
