I hate new towels because they are too fluffy. Whenever I buy new ones, I first wash them multiple times before using, and still hate them and go back to the old ones, often throwing new ones to back to wash right after they've been wash, so they'd just wear out a bit or something. I can't explain it, but there is something weird about the way new towels feel and I don't like it.

Those water sprays can be a need for folks with really bad water. I live on a farm and, despite a fancy filtration system, my well water’s pH is almost 10. After a few months I experienced angry, sensitive skin. Rather than wash my face with bottled water I use my crappy tapwater and give my skin a good spray of LRP thermal water to neutralize the surface of my skin before proceeding with skincare. It has helped a TON.
The disposable towels are a game changer for people who have hard water. The hard water builds up on your towels and can cause acne.

You don’t need a spray water but nothing feels like a spray of water mist on your face before slapping on your cream! Spray is convenient, there is no water dripping around my mirror.
With newer softer clay masks, you're not supposed to wait till it fully dries. You can wipe them after the recommended time. They make them extra hydrating so it doesn't strip you too much.
Thermal water (which is different of spring water) as a medicine has been used all over Europe for centuries ;-) I know you don't have this in the US so it's a little harder for you to believe in it, but it's very common here (and not just in France) ;-)

In France there are many thermal spa towns where people go for medical treatment. Your doctor prescribes you a course of treatment, usually a couple of weeks, at one of these thermal spas! I personally love it. But to each it's own, right? Not everyone has to like all the same products. For me the lanaige sleeping mask did a lot of good. I fell a little over 10 years ago, and they had to stitch my lip(which they normally don't do because they heal great on it's own) because like a banana it was peeled of almost completely. And ever since I've had a scar, discolouration and a continuous scab that just wouldn't go away. Since I use this, it has gotten so much better! The scar obviously won't go away. But it is less visible and therefore so is the discolouration. And the scab hasn't returned. So personally I am happy. But I understand that every skin works differently and it's just not for everyone.
Both you are the reason why my skin looks amazing, I have followed all of your guidance to help my skin age gracefully. By the way, I have all of Remedy's products. Hyperpigmentation and acne scars from decades of acne have disappeared, and my pores are becoming less visible. Dr. Shah, you are my skin hero! ❤

Eye creams: do you need them or just want them? Also, we know eyes and lips are the sensitive areas of the face, but how do they compare to each other? can i use an eye cream to moisturize my lips as well? Or the other way around? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I use the disposable towels, but not as a "dry off" towel. My sink does not make it easy for me to splash water on my face for rinsing off facial wash. I found that these towels work wonderfully as washcloths! I will grab a new one every two to three days. They dry quickly and hold up extremely well under water use. I have used the Clean Skin ones and found that other brands (at a cheaper price) work just as well. I have saved myself from washing washcloths constantly, putting leftover detergent on my face and made my life so much easier!! These towels have quickly slid over into an almost "need" category for me.....
I actually use the clean towels as a wash cloth and use a new one almost every time I wash my face. Doing this alone has significantly reduced my breakouts

I’d love to see videos on how often to use actives like salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide as these can come in cleansers or leave on treatment. As someone who has dry-acne prone skin, I always see suggestions for oily, acne prone skin
You two are AMAZING!!!!! I never knew "learning" could be so entertaining!!! Love from Texas!!
Love this guys! So much fun!
Ah I loved seeing you test that clay mask! I used to use it often, but since I started Tretinoin, I’m afraid it would be too exfoliating.
I have rosacea and recently used a box of the Clean Skin Club towels. I kept the box in a cupboard (not left on the counter) to try to keep it sterile/clean, so I found it really inconvenient when getting out of the shower to have to wait with a dripping wet face until drying my body off and walking over to the cupboard, dig one out, every time. Worth it if it is making a difference in your skin though! They are large, soft and strong, and don’t leave any lint. After drying my face (patting dry only, no rubbing) I could also use them to dry my ears out too which was really nice (I’m trying to never use Q-tips in my ears anymore). In the evening washing my face over the sink, it was also really nice to wipe down the counter with the used towel where water had splashed. Overall good experience, did not improve my rosacea but psychologically I think it helped me be very conscious of my skin and prioritize it. I’ve also thought a lot about travel and how gross it is to use public towels in a hotel or staying with family who may not offer a bunch of single-use face towels, so I plan on taking them on trips. I love the thermal spring water in the summer, to cool my face down without adding any irritating ingredients. On very hot days, I keep it in the cooler.
I love how you guys help me with knowing what is good in my skincare routine. Can you guys pls do a video about Korean skincare products, like Round Lab or Beauty of Joseon or Mediheal.
Reviews on tinted moisturisers? Dry touch vs tinted cream? I currently use La Roche Posay dry touch and tinted BUT I have to mix both together just to get the blend and coverage I want 🙄
Re Clean Club towels: does the earth really need more disposable/single use products? NAH................

They ARE biodegradable, but....

@@pamcanfield255something can be called "biodegradable" even if it takes decades to degrade. Plus the making if single use products damages the environment more than the degradation of the item.

And bamboo is not necessarily sustainable.

Years ago, my facialist said to use paper towels to dry my face. My family has been doing this since. I have paper towel holders in every bathroom, so the are very convenient to use. They may not be as soft as bamboo towels, but they do the job at a very cost effective price.

@theoldertwin unless you're using really cheap paper towels I don't see them being cost effective. And cheap paper towels (wood pulp) can cause micro abrasions on the skin. I'll just continue to use my soft microfiber washcloths. I use one to wash, another to pat dry--then hang it up & use it to wash the next day. I wash/dry the other cloth. I do (at least) a load of laundry every day anyway.
Hey guys! Love your content, just wondering if you could do a series on Asian Skin care brands, ingredients, and trends (ex: double cleansing). Seeing that they have been trending recently, it would be amazing to have better knowledge on these. THANK YOU
My favourite skin Doctors 🥰 you guys really help my acne journey, thank you.
Can you discuss growth factor serums?

yesss, please! 😍
I can't imagine washing a week's worth of that lip mask off my pillow cases. My generic Vaseline works just fine.
For the towels, I recommend getting baby cotton towels. I bought a bunch from IKEA. Use them for cleaning your face. If you wet them and stick them in the microwave for 20 sec then you have a great warm towel experience. Good for getting off oil cleansers and tubing / 38 oC mascara
I have the Avene spray water and find the best use for it is in the middle of the night when I have a hot flash. It's a nice way to cool off. The clean skin club towels are nice, but I'm not crazy of the price point. When I bought them, I cut them in half. I also found that the Viva hand towels are much softer than any of the paper towels on the market and can work in a pinch, but I've never used them on a regular basis. I ended up buying a ton of small face cloths and wash them weekly.
I love these videos! The Docs are like kids at Christmas opening up these products and experimenting with them and we get some good information about stuff to avoid 😆
"THIS IS CHAOS!" LOL, love you guys--congrats on nearing the 3-million-subscriber mark!🎊
You two make me smile and laugh. Love your humor (and, of course, your knowledge about skincare!)
I would LOVE it if you guys could review the Clarins skincare line. It's soooo expensive!! For me anyway, but man, their products feel so good! and for products that have fragrance in them, it's pretty mild and smells so nice anyway. The products I'm most curious to hear your opinions on are their double-serum with turmeric, and their multi-intensive day cream. Are these worth the money?
I thinkg the facial towel will be good for travel.
I have a basket with a stack of washcloths and I use a new one every single time I wash my face. My kids have the same thing and they have their own colors. Once we did this, the acne cleared up and so did the colds.
I LOVE and reserve Clean Club towels for travel. Where I don’t have access to a clean daily wash cloth. Use along with my cleanser to wash face. Then perfect for a wipe down on the sink after.
I go through the Avene thermal spring water bottles like no other! It feels so Good and a nice moment everytime during my skincare routine before serums. Also anytime during the day when I feel hot, got rosacea flushing or feel itchy and irritated, that spray is a life saver. It's not necessary per say, but it feels amazing.
Like Dr. Shah's application of Remedy lip balm at the beginning! lol
I use the Vanilla laneige and I love it. probably has fewer of the dyes and extracts and stuff, I have bad reactions to most lip balms but this one works a charm for me.
I love the Haru Haru Wonder Black Bamboo Mist, it’s wonderful on the skin. Money well spent. Thank you, love your content.
I just dab my face dry with a normal paper towel. If you aren’t rubbing your face they work just fine.

By all means do what's best for you. I just find using them to be wasteful and worry about the small fibers stuck on my face afterwards.
FYI Trader Joe’s has a wonderful lip mask for $5.99, that works beautifully. A better dupe in my opinion than the fancy brands

Love it so much! At the holidays they had a delicious 2-pack that I got for not much more, chocolate and a berry one. I’m loving the gorgeous texture.
I love the laroche posay spray with Hyaluaronic acid. Brown Skin Derm (on KZread) recommends this in her video on starting tretinoin with quick contact and sandwich method. This helped so much!!! Love you guys!
I always look forward to your videos and they never disappoint. Could you make one on the impact of what we eat on our skin instead of what we put on it just once? Thank you and take good care.
Lmao! “But you might want! 😅” love your content!
hi Doctorly! this isn't related to the video but do you recommend using a 3% mandelic acid serum daily? i have sensitive skin but find that using it only 3-4x a week isn't doing much (it helps, but not as much as i want it to). and should i use it first thing after cleansing? thank you!
So happy to have come across your videos ❤ I am recovering from breast cancer surgery and what better way to spend my downtime…finding newer content while searching for good skincare. You know what I would like to “hear”? Is welcome to the Canadian 🇨🇦viewers!!! Our country is your closest HUGE neighbour and yet you favour Europe and of course, US. Anyway, I'm sure it's not intentional 😂 but a shout-out to Canada will go a long way to support your KZread channel 🎉 Keep the great content coming!! Janice
Thank you 🙏🏻 could you please do a series of skincare by age and by concern? for example skincare on your 30s for fine lines, or for dry skin type, than do it by age range (30s, 40s…..) and concern (wrinkles and fine lines, dark spots, elasticity, etc). Thanks 😊 😊
Thermal waters are enormously helpful for rosacea flares. I consider it very important and carry a small can in my purse or car at all times. My Derm turned me onto it
