SKIN TEXTURE DRAWING TUTORIAL | HOW TO DRAW REALISTIC SKIN PORES
In this skin texture drawing tutorial I'm going to show you step by step my process to draw realistic skin pores. To draw realistic skin texture, you need to take your time to set up the ‘foundation’ of the drawing. Hopefully, by the end of this video you'd learn enough to draw realistic skin pores.

Thanks for this knowledge air..but I have a question..I only use charcoal dust to draw...how can I still achieve it this with all these steps
@JasonLegendaryArt
8 ай бұрын
Well just shade the skin normally. Start lightly and progress to dark. But when it's time to draw the pores you're going to need some pencils, charcoal or at least graphite, charcoal dust can't do much In drawing those little pores.
Thanks I just learned a lot from you please don't give up cuz I won't

What's the difference between hard, soft and medium charcoal pencils and b2,b4, and b6 when it comes to drawing hair.
Lol,i draw a super smooth face with little Black marks and they would end up liking it but i don't ! I really get bored coz sometimes it gets messed up and there's no way I'm to rub the marks and reshade it the way it was!😪😔

Strathmore Bristol smooth
Just the video to avoid if you want to draw using pencil in a relaxed and focused way.
Okay how can you draw freckles and black heads???
I have a question can you use the electric eraser same as you use the mono eraser?
@JasonLegendaryArt

Yeah, but Tombow mono give you more flexibility
What is the type of cardboard?
What kind of electric erasers are you using, especially the small one.

One question do the paper texture really matter, or you can use any paper to draw realistic drawing
@JasonLegendaryArt

It does, I try to go for something that has a relatively smooth surface. But not too smooth. It being thick is also recommended

Wouldn't be be as easy and quick. It would require layers upon layers and don't forget the shine. Oh the shine 🤦🤦
@JaGGeR-

@@JasonLegendaryArt 9B graphite powder is as dark immediately. No layers upon layers necessary. Having done this for years now it's not a big deal. If shine is a problem, change the angle of your light and/or the angle of your canvas/paper. 🤷🏻♂️
Nice work sir, please make new videos

For graphite pencils, I use 2B, 4B, 6B and HB For charcoal pencils, I use Generals 4B and 6B
@JasonLegendaryArt owesome . truth is i have come from far . from nothing to kinder better. Thats promising but whats discouraging is that there is a long way to go....i believe am good but my materials have failed me, mostly my type of paper.... Its realy dificult to minimise noise in my art work and make smooth skin tones...and my drawings appear better with naked eyes than on camera....am realy confused which is true . should i trust my eyes or the camera lense
@JasonLegendaryArt

Poor quality of paper is one thing that can ruin an artwork and can also kill motivation. You can be cheap on other things, but you can't skip paper. And any progress is progress and that's good. Infact it's great, the goal is to be 1% better than yesterday. And I would say that as long as you took the photo of the drawing well, that photo can also be a guide to see areas you need to fix in the drawing.
How can we make our own graphite powder
