I love this sun screen. It’s one of the few that my skin can actually handle. I just wish the bottle wasn’t so damn tiny. It’s a bit pricey for how much you get but it’s worth it for me since I don’t have a lot of options.

I have oily and acne-prone skin, I live in a hot and humid country but this sunscreen works well for me! ❤️ It has Zinc Oxide, sweat and water-resistant, alcohol-free, fragrance and essential oil free, travel-friendly packaging, so lightweight no matter how many layers, works well under makeup.🥰 My HG for outdoor face sunscreen along with it’s Super Moisture Gel for my body only (because it has denatured alcohol) and B-Lab I’m sorry just sun cream for my indoor sunscreen! Solid protection and yet affordable sunscreens!😍

Hey does this Milk version protect the face skin really well? Especially when you do running, hiking, on the beach. With reapplication?

I use this exact sunscreen around my eyes every day because it doesn't burn or sting my eyes at all. Then I use the super gold formula version over the rest of my face, neck and ears. The super gold is totally transparent over facial hair (but my eyes are more sensitive to it, which is why I use the baby blue version for eyes only).

This product is great for my combo oily skin. Goes on shiny and dries down natural/eggshell.

I USE DRMTLGY AS WELL AND CERAVE BEFORE MY TRETINOIN! Sorry, got a little excited.

I love the pink version... it has a slight of tone up effect (not overly brightening) which is so elegant... by the way, you look good in this sunscreen

This is my holy grail sunscreen!! The white bottle version was my holy grail, but the alcohol was drying out my skin too much while using tretinoin. So I switched to the purple bottle since it’s alcohol free. I’m a little iffy about if it’s legit or not. I’m afraid it might end up being a centella situation where the amount of protection isn’t what is listed in the bottle. Sometimes I notice my cheeks get a little burnt even though I’m reapplying every 2 hours :(

@@xeey-3073 i was on the 0.1 and went down to 0.05. Haven’t had any issues with peeling since then and I use tret 7 days a week! I still use the blue skin aqua bc it doesn’t have alcohol. It’s still my holy grail. No I never tried the yellow bottle.

Which do you prefer more the milk or gel?

im using this sunscreen but im using a local version, originally from Japan, packaged n Distributed by a Pakistani company. Mine has Vitamin C and E and Collagen ofcourse. I do like it. One of the best that I have tried so far however im still looking for a tinted mineral sunscreen with Iron Oxide and high percentage of Zinc.

Finally a comment. I really wish Pakistani bottle isn't so less in quantity 25ml only :( that version is only available in Vietnam as well under the license of Rohto Japan

How long is this waterproof/sweat resistant for?

I have been using the sunplay skin aqua ultra hydrating essence for a week now and I'm already darker on my face! It gives me an oily finishing...

Great video! Keep up the good work. I have a question, and i apologize if i missed the answer in your video, but: Does this product contain alcohol like the Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel (white bottle, gold cap)? Yesstyle and Amazon aren't always reliable for a list of ingredients.

The Skin Aqua and Biore sunscreens all have high concentrations of Octinoxate which is frustrating. Not stable and may have hormonal effects.

Really? I can’t seem to find it on the ingredients list for skin aqua. Maybe different formulations?

Is it oily once you apply it on your face??

Can you try the riemann p20 kids sunscreen? It’s supposed to have really high uva protection.

How long does that small bottle last you?

I know you’re on the quest for a tinted mineral spf..... I would say avoid the Elta MD Physical. The tint is very light so it leaves a strong cast. Also it’s so matte that any dry spots looked extra flakey. Just my experience.

chonk agreed! I’m horrified when I see people recommend it for dry skin. Also, the tint is virtually identical to that of the original Australian Gold.

hi there, do you know any sunscreen which is matte/invisble and has no fragrance and no alcohol? really need something which is matte :/

You might want to try la roche posay anti shine. Im suuuuper oily i look like i have an oil depot on my face but i look decent when i use that. It's only expensive for me to maintain.

How long does it go??

With all the sunscreens that you have tested, have you had any of them bother your eyes ( like when you're sweating and it runs in). I've been having issues.

I have problems with this when I use chemical sunscreens around the eyes. That's why I tend to stick to mineral ones for that area. I can't say if that's the case for the Japanese ones yet because I haven't worn them when sweating lol. Hope that helps

Do you happen to know the difference between this one and the one that looks the same but the bottle is yellow? Is one just the updated version or are they two different products? I own the yellow one but the labeling is in Japanese, obviously lol

They appear to have the exact same ingredient list after cross referencing a few different resources. I can't say for sure if the formula is different though. I've seen a review that says the blue bottle formula is thinner and has more shine, but I don't know how trustworthy that is. Hope that helps.

The one in the blue is the newer version, it switched in 2019 I believe. The yellow is from 2018 and should still be good, but if you are like me and have a sickening stock pile of this sunscreen right now (it went ‘currently unavailable’ on amazon at the beginning of quarantine I was mass buying and hoarding this while the rest of the world was buying toilet paper) I would just use the yellow bottles first 👌

I think they have batch codes to get the manufacture date. They also frequently update the packaging. For example the 2018 version is in a yellow tube, the 2019 is in a blue tube in hard plastic packaging and the 2020 version is in a blue tube that comes in a soft plastic bag.
