This song helped me get through middle school Ok. I was SEVERELY bullied by the majority of my classmates. I am a goth so I was incredibly misunderstood. On one occasion, I was beaten over the head with a backpack filled with textbooks and everyone stood around laughing and taking pictures. The school faculty decided to move ME to a different school bus and the bullies got only a one day detention. As far as the teachers were concerned, I was going to have to "simply ignore them". Fortunately, after 3 years of hell, I was able to get through highschool very well and I rarely saw the bullies ever again. I am in my twenties now and I am living my own life without caring what anyone thinks of me anymore. Thank you Skillet for this uplifting song.

if you find any skillet concert near you i highly recommend going to it they are an amazing rock band i went to winter jam last night and i’ve never been to a skillet concert but i was blown away by how amazing they are

I LOVE SKILLET! The first song I heard was Monster. Then came Whispers in the Dark. Then it all started coming. Every song. It helps me when I feel depressed. It helps me to stay strong. It keeps my alive. For so long I've ignored the bullying. But now I can't and it's just so overwhelming. I hate it. When I listen to Skillet, all the stress, all the depressed, suicidal thoughts, drain instantly. I listen to this every day and it gets me through the day, and I listen right before I go to bed. It's my remedy. I love!
