A lot going on with that. Nice looking light. The magnetic charge connection is a nice touch. Enjoyed the video brother. Be safe out there.

It seems like a great flashlight except for the magnetic charger. Exposed metal contacts that are connected to the battery could mean you fry something if something metal shorts those contacts. The charging pad is the same size as the button which will be confusing trying to find the power button in the dark. Much rather a USB C port and no proprietary charging anyway. Great review though!

Odd Question, the magnetic charging contacts on the flashlight are more than likely protected by diodes so you cannot dead short across the (+)(-) contacts, but I am wondering if you can read battery voltage from those contacts using a Multimeter? And since diodes have a forward voltage drop of 0.3-0.7 volts and if you can read the voltage, what it the actual voltage of the battery compared to the charging contact?

this is true with diodes, i dont know the part # of the diodes and i have to find the fluke in the house to test.

What are your thoughts on using this out in the woods? Dowsnt look like it has a lot of throw or enough light to go put hiking with it.

Depends. I has a decent burst but not sustainable. It will be okay for hiking at night when no other option is svailable. Medium mode is probably the most used in my case which is fine.

@@TheFossilChannel this against the Manker E05 ii is the review to make. Higher output and efficiency on the Manker with a less complicated UI. Anyway, thanks!

@TheFossilChannel ah phooey. Soooo close to finding the perfect AA flashlight. I prefer a more flood type for a AA flashlight for up close type work. Anything hot spot needed, I would rather using a bigger more throwey flashlight

These are so expensive here in Australia (buying from their website or Amazon) it's not even funny. About 72 USD + shipping...
