    Hello from Michigan! Excellent video! I have a 2021 Renegade with the 900 ace and I absolutely love it. I was skeptical about 4-strokes in a sled too, but BRP got this engine right. The clutching is also awesome. Be safe out there!

    Yup. We also have two 900 aces, never had any problems with them. Plenty fast. Super quiet. Great fuel economy. All around great engines.

    Personally i prefer the etec just for the power and smell but the 900 ace 600 ace turbocharged or not there still great sleds

    in a straight line run i would bet the 600 efi would givw it a go . an mxz 600 efi is just as fast. my 2021 expedition with a 154 will get approx 137km/hr

    This 900 ace must have a turbo to be able to reach 165 kpms, yes?

    Apparently the cable less throttle (fly by wire) is terrible on these . The new Mach z they went back to an actual cable…so I hear.

    honestly i have put 10000km in 2 years on my 900 ace and the worst part is the thumb lever, it's hard to get used to on the first rides but the throttle and throttle respond is very good.

    We've started and ridden in -32 weather and they run perfectly fine. Because its the 4-stroke engine they start easy compared to 2-stroke. We just suggest before starting your ride you wait a couple minutes for the engine to warm up

    How does it ride with 2 persons?

  • @SimicBros

    @SimicBros

    It rides fairly smooth, just depending on the weight of the 2 people adjustments will need to be made to the reer suspension, torsion spring, etc. But plenty of power for 2 people.

    Anyone ever been able to wheelie a 900 ace? I have the 2017 enduro and I haven’t been able to. Maybe I just need some suspension adjustments?

  • @SimicBros

    Its difficult to wheelie the 900 ace because of the power-weight ratio as well as the torque. It doesn't have enough torque and a long enough track with deep lugs (paddles) on the track to be able to wheelie it. It may be possible with adjustments to the suspension but I don't believe it would work.

    165kms/hr out of a 900 ACE. I don’t see that. We have one that’s flashed and clutched and it barely does 155.

    165 on good flat ice with not too much snow, if there’s a build up of powder you won’t be able to max it out

    All Ski-doo come with Dreameters. This has been known for a long time now. They show 10-15 km/h faster then they GPS or Radar. Don't ever go by the gauge on a Ski-doo. Real top speed for these engines in optimal conditions is 95 Mph / 150 km/h. Your not going faster then that without clutch or engine mods. That being said. The 900 ACE is one of the best snowmobile engines on the market right now. The dominating sales show it. The only 4 strokes better are Yamaha but they come with a huge price tag.

    Yea four strokes are a little more money but for the people riding more often then the maintenance/upkeep/reliability might make people lean more to four strokes, it certainly did for us because we ride 7k km + a season
