So wonderful to see these ambitious guys making their way in life.
I bought a new SVL 75-3 about three months ago, and I have to say that it probably addresses all the complaints with the -2 in this video. Backup cam is now standard, keyless start (PIN), the cab is fully sealed now (so much quieter and cleaner), it has additional torque and the hydraulics have been upgraded so that you don't get the power lag when both moving and lifting. Oh, and that stupid washer reservoir isn't looming above your shoulder anymore either. It was maybe $3k more than the 75-2 price in this video, but still at least $15k cheaper than the CAT and Deere equivalents, at least here in Montana. Lastly, I do a lot of (solo) work that requires jumping in and out of the loader frequently, and not having to worry about whether the boom is "low enough" to clear the door is a huge time saver. Oh, and the new cab is a lot sturdier, so you can drive around with the door up and it doesn't make a huge racket like on 75-2. Just adding my two cents!

I have used all 3 machines and i agree with your assessment. In ny opinion the cat has better balance but less comfort and less visibility
I might be wrong but I wanna say in the long run, Kubota might be cheaper to maintain because they make a lot of their own parts which makes them cheaper
Don’t think I didn’t see it 🤣 Welcome DADDY ! Haha that’s funny
Boy that $10,000 dpf service is a deal breaker. Great to see young men getting it done.

10k is nothing. 1 landscaping project 2 to 3 days profit

@rontopping2048 10k might not be alot of money but for a maintenance item on a skid steer, that's pretty steep

@rontopping2048 you obviously don't own your own business.
Great review of both machines (including price points). Thank you!
Love your video love to see young men running there own business.
The best skid steer is the one you can get the fastest local support for so there’s little downtime 👍

Or if you know how to work on your own stuff that opens up a larger selection of equipment.
It's great to see young men working so hard and finding success. Cheers to you both, to your companies, and to your futures! (The Cat is better)
2023 Svl75-3 has everything the cat does and is 75k for standard flow. Low mine makes the svl75-2 seem like a 30 year old machine.
Incredible! In 1 month I'm going for one
When you demo a machine the dealer tends to put smaller buckets on to make the machine feel stronger. So yes a bucket does matter. Kubota uses a hydraulic over hydraulic joystick which is far superior than electric over hydraulic.
The Kubota is cheaper in price, parts & maintenance over the life of the machine. As a contractor, the bottom line always puts more money in your pocket at the end of the day. Best of luck, Guys!
love the skid steers!
Love the logos and name for Mr.Valentine over here
Just missed out on the updated SVL75-3. 😭😭😭
where does this take place? Amazing home
What a bad ass looking house in the background!
Should I buy Takeuchi TL8R2 or Kubota SVL75-3 Any advice?
How is the F250 doing? Make a review!
The cats engine is a kubota engine actually the same one that is in that kubota skid steer I believe. The deference is pumps cat runs a dual pump. Also you can get too the def on the cat by just pulling the cooling pak out.
Sharp kids. I’m proud of you 👍
I will never buy a skid steer with an enclosed cab that isn't a kubota or takeuchi because of the doors. They are much more convinent and far safer than a swing out door. And Kubota and Takeuchi make pretty awesome machines. I've run both machines you're showing there and even if they both had the roll up door I'd take the kubota any day of the week. It's way easier to operate and service, and a lot cheaper to maintain.
I just want to say seeing you two very young men working hard and killing it is awesome! Keep at it
We tried Cat, Case, Bobcat, Tach, and Kubota. We went with an SVL75-3. We are more than pleased with it. It is the best machine I have ever run, easy to fix any issues, and has plenty of torque and power. It was $79k as most dealers are putting all the upgrades on them from what we saw but it was worth the investment.
The engine pull out is a deal breaker for me 😮
Kubota is good for heavy construction , just digging and moving dirt, backfilling . Cat is good for fine grading, landscaping, comfort. Everyday use . Cat has a kubota engine with cat components.
Impressive young men, they give hope to society.
Kubota 💪
Do you know the Cat 259D motor is actually a Kubota motor. I blew mine out last winter and when purchasing a new motor they told me it's the same motor.
HIGH PRICE CAT riding on their name Kabota riding on quality
👍
The new updated 75-3 is a lot better. Leds, backup camera, radiator swings out, better cab. I’m pretty sure cat buys kubota engines as well. The door and 15k cheaper would do it for me
Great video keep it up! Could we possibly get some more mowing footage?

For sure!
I’ve owned 3 259s all great machines great dealer support in OKC electric over hydraulic is much easier to drive the controls move with the seat in the cat and in rough terrain the suspension on the cat is a game changer if you are in it all day and they are priced less where I live
Do a video of the f250 2011
In 2024 that 259 is now running 100k.
Where u sled at?
you should switch to kubota because of the door and the other things about skid steers
welcome daddy
I would go with a John Deer with its supper boom lift in the same class machine it can lift more than both machines shown
Biggest difference the kubota won’t be out of service all the time. Cats got a great cab, power and quiet. Many many break downs.

I had my 259D3 for over 2 yrs now. No breakdowns yet. So maybe it also depends on the user. Be gentle with your machines guys!
Godless you guys wish i was doing that at 18 instead of 47 ..better late than never
Deere and takeuchi will are by far the strongest
Kabota got a much bigger bucket
Can we get some long mowing videos…. Like maybe 25 minute videos???
Kubotas are just loud and clunky.
Kabota all the way cheaper to service Cat design is stupid
I bought a SVL90 at less than 600 hours it self destructed. This machine had all the proper maintenance done at the dealer. Almost $16000 worth of hydraulic repairs. I will NEVER own another Kubota. I now have a Cat 259d3. I would put this 75 hp machine up against a Kubota any day. Smother ride, better control response, quieter, all around superior machine!

He said he started mowing at age 9 and has 54 weekly accounts while doing full serve landscaping.
At 17,18 dropping $75-85k. Not smart even if you own your business unless you got some people related to you in that house?
259d cat is junk wait to you need it repaired and you better have deep pockets you will need a lot of money and another skid
Cat will not support you
