I love when that happens. In Dublin airport there’s a road right next to the taxiway and you can occasionally get a wave from the pilots as they taxi out to 10R

I went there a few years ago and it was awesome. I'm former military so I am used to the power of a modern jet. When I visited we stood by the guard rail and pretty much everyone was being pushed over when I am standing at parade rest.

I’ve been here before and it’s gorgeous, some of the beaches there (especially Kolios Beach if you go again) is stunningly magnificent

Skiathos is the best island for aviation lovers if you fancy a holiday, feel like going to the beach? No problem, you got a hot greek beach, fancy a rest? Go to the hotel with view of the bay and planes, if your hungry, go to a resturaunt on the bay and watch the planes, I would love to go there, and i hope you enjoyed your visit there.

I went to skiathos on the 27th of July with jet 2 and I was in the plane at 0:11 seconds and it’s impressive how to get some what smooth landings on such a short runway

It is a pretty small airport serving a small island, during the winter there are actually only 1 or 2 flights a day, it’s only sort of busy during the summer as there is a lot of tourism. Fun fact: the island used to get Boeing 757s from Jet2, Condor, and TUI, but now those flights have been replaced with A321s, Boeing 737 MAX 8s and Boeing 737NGs sadly, so I didn’t get to see them :(

As an aviaton LOVER i would go there even if i had to pay 1 million dollars.
