Yes agree but I think that you have set a great example and they will continue being active all their lives. I have found this to be true in my family. As I grew up we were always doing some kind of sport and this has continued as we have aged and our children and grandchildren are all very active. ❤

Alaska fish, hunt, ski, camp, love it!!! When the boys are older and look back on these videos the memories and stories, what a true blessing!!!

The boys probably don’t realize how cool they are because they’re just living life. What they get to do is pretty special!

I didn't grow up with a dad. Just an alcoholic mother that neglected, verbally and emotionally abused me. I love watching your family. It's a blessing to know that families like your exists. Many blessings to you all!

I was stationed at Ft. Richardson for 4 years and that is when I fell in love with Alaska. It is so beautiful. I was able to experience everything you can do while I lived there.

Absolutely beautiful! I skied one time, hit ice, saw my skies go over my head and the head slammed the ground. Nice concussion. Have never been on skies again. That was back early 80’s. You guys are fantastic! You are a good Dad.

Mark, you are an awesome Dad! The boys are having an awesome time. It’s beautiful. This old lady wouldn’t be able to walk up to slide down, but so much fun to watch! Memories they will never forget.

My Dad who had 7 of us crazy kids, would have been skeet shootng to win our Thanksgiving turkey lol while we all got freezing cold skiing, riding the sleds, ( no snowboards yet, it was the 70s!) and ice skating. There was a Navy sponsored ski/snow fun area near the base on Kodiak. This was before it switched to Coast Guard, my Dad was actually one of the officers to help with the transition! Looks like so much fun Mark and trust me, i'm living proof your boys will never forget😊

Oh man, I have never wished more that I had grown up in Alaska! This looked like so much fun! I, though, grew up in NW Florida and skiing was not anything possible for me. Now I do live in the NW but I am old and decrepit, lol, so still not possible. If I could go back a few decades, this would be something I would make happen. Just amazing. Your boys have no idea just how fortunate they are to have such opportunities AND Mark for a dad! ❤

Great video! We have just two small ski hills here in Nova Scotia- but we buy seasons passes every year and during the long winters we lovely our family time driving there every Saturday, spending the day outside together. Alaska looks magical!

UGH!!! There is snow STILL in Alaska the end of May!!!!???😲 I got to say Alaskans are strong people! I am the beach bum type of person and I wouldn't survive a winter in Alaska! For one I am always cold even when the temperature is 50 degrees and 2nd I love sunny warm weather. I admire those who live in Alaska. The snow is fun that's for sure.

I learned so much in this video and scenery was fantastic! Mark is so encouraging of the boys, leads by example, and has Fun right with them. I like that they earned money for specialized skis too, so they appreciate and value their investment. This was the best! I felt like I was right there on the slopes with you. The Alyeska Resort was absolutley stunning and you were all so amazing doing the Double X runs. You're great skiers. And the back country option with the split skies is very interesting. Something new to me.
