Sketching Skies, Water, and Reflections by John Muir Laws
Jack Laws gives a presentation to his Bay Area Nature Journal Club on quick methods for sketching skies, water, and reflections in water using pencil, watercolor, colored pencil, and Tombow markers. Using Jack's innovative "landscapitos" (sp?) approach to tiny 3-4 inch size sketches, numerous examples are given of waves, sky landscapes, reflections, etc.

great class, thanks, as for reflection, great point, I may add that length of the reflection ALSO depends on the hight of the sun or artificial light if indoor. if it is low it is longer, if the sun is above the object it is short
