I just wanted to say thank you for being so transparent. As a college student majoring in art, I often feel so much pressure on the assignments I do for courses and if they aren't like Vincent Van Gogh tier then I feel like a failure but seeing you so easily show your work without being super hard on yourself is so inspiring, truly. I really adore how open you are about your art, especially pieces in your sketchbook you sort of felt weary of, you still showed them which is like so insanely admirable. Thank you for this and I look forward to exploring more videos on your channel as I am a newbie!

finally someone who really uses a sketchbook and is really messy and real I loved it!!!! I never use sketchbooks because it turnes out wrong and then I get disappointed and rip the pages out....... because, you know, it's not pretty as the one's I see online

sketchbook tour is my favourite! i went to art school and now im in an art university so i always wanted to see peoples sketchbooks

aaaaaaaa I'm so honored to be mentioned in this video!! thank you so so much 🥰 god I LOVE this sketchbook tour, I love how you use your sketchbook as a place to take notes and work out ideas, it's not like a shiny kind of perfect but more lived-in, and I love it all the more as a result. also GOD that Patrick Bateman spread!! all of the character spreads!! esp that one from the first scream movie, so so perfect (I understand why you don't like it though, your other work is def more stylized, I can def see the direction you're going in!)

and my first time seeing your account and you really inspired me and motivated me. im a very young artist and i really look up to you because you have my number one dream artstyle and i think your art doesnt ever fail to be amazing and 2 more things: im insecure about how people draw stuff that isnt sketchy and that has no little erased lines underneath and i think youre actually one of those people😭😭 seconds thing, i think youre one of those people who can just pull out super amazing rough pen sketches out

I’ve just stumbled across your sketch tour and I already love the way your art style is, plus how you write down little notes. I tend to do that too sometimes in my sketchbook. I had an idea that I wanted to propose to you at 10:38 with blueberry Bill. I really like how he looks with the locks but, I was thinking if you could create another character with that style and it could be his twin or cousin maybe?? Idk I just thought it’d be a cool concept. 😅

YO good taste ;) and because the spine of the sketchbook is bound, there was not a lot of shifting that goes on between the papers like a spiral bound sketchbook. And I was careful while drawing to not smudge. I have heard that fixative and hairspray can help keep things from smudging tho!

i love your sketchbook, i think it's bc mine looks similar but less from memory most of mine are from reference. do you have any tips on how to draw anatomy like that from memory bc oml it's gorgeous!!! ❤❤❤

Sometimes I do! I’d say about a quarter of the time I’m referencing a pose or clothing and the other half is my own knowledge and imagination :)
