This is my skateology video for caballerial kickflips AKA cab kickflips, cab flips, or full cab flips. All skating is by Chase Jones @chaseejones. Filmed with a Sony FS700 at 240 and 480 frames per second at Woodhaven skatepark.

Dude does them very legit! No pivoting or powersliding...just a damn good full 360
Damn that was probably the best full cab flip I've ever seen full 360 with no pivot
Honestly this is probably my favorite trick, a flip, body rotation and board rotation, it just looks so full and busy.

Damn! I literally typed in “slomo caballaro kickflip” cause I thought it’d be one of the sickest tricks in slomo and this video came up first and could not have been more perfect! One in particular at 00:21 is so insane to see how perfectly your feet come in to meet the board…. Muah, chefs kiss lol

Okay, stupid question... but how do you pronounce "Caballerial". Cab-all-reel? Caballer-eel? I've always just said half cab and full cab. Also, why is it called that? I'm guessing it has to do with Steve Caballero. So why not call it a Caballero flip?

/kæbəˈleɘɹɪəl/ rhymes with "stab a varial". Steve Cab did a fakie backside 360 air on vert in about 1980, hence Caballero's aerial, hence Caballerial. It's not necessary to use the word "full" because Cab always = 360 unless otherwise specified. I'm a language teacher, please forgive the didactic tone!

no, because he's riding fakie (backwards). fakie backside 360 = caballerial. backside 360 flip = caballerial flip.
