With how successful most of the remakes have been (rip skam nl) I sometimes forget just how good the original is and how it is the show that all the other ones are inspired by. Without the og, none of the others would exist and I love coming back to rewatch it. And don’t worry, you can still miss skam and be new to the fandom😂😊

@@BethanyGrace4 either that or I see the remakes as a way to keep Skam legacy alive; despite having cultural differences, the point of watching Skam to me really is abt getting ppl together and find common ground between things or ppl (you know how our fandom consists of outspoken and critical-minded ppl). The experience so far has been pleasant and I'll cherish it forever, which is why it is important to hv even more countries considered making a show like Skam or simply a remake will do. It might be overwhelming for some fans, but again it's personal choice, I just want to hv more stories being told and reps ofc! cx
