Glad this was helpful ! BTW, maybe people don't offer the entire variety of sizes. I know plenty of shops who sell the 1:1 ratio, up to 15", or even offer only A4/US lettersize / 8x10 sizes - all meant for people to print at home.

I know this is an older video, but this is something I’m planning to add to my shop soon and I was concerned about my sizes so thank you! I want to sell my art as printables to open a bigger market. I knew about the dpi, but the frame sizes I was finding online were all over the place and I wanted to consider international sizes too. So happy I don’t have to make all of those sizes. I think I’m going to just make the largest sizes of what you mentioned, then a version that can be printed on regular printer paper at home and let my customers know they can resize it. Thanks!

You can totally make JUST the sizes you want ! I know plenty of people who sell art that is 8x10 & A4... Also, a lot who sell printable wall art squares, there was a tutorial on that BTW: kzread.info/dash/bejne/f2ZrmsiOeru9dLA.html

Procreate is so much fun! Though limited in size. I think it's important to state that the choice of sizes is yours! These are standard sizes, so they are recommended, but you don't have to do all of them! If you're using Procreate, you also have the DPI option manually, so you can just choose the inch value, and 300 DPI. I also made a video on selling just 1:1 ratio art, as that one often seems to be the easiest to make, and mockup, less uploading needed. kzread.info/dash/bejne/f2ZrmsiOeru9dLA.html Was using Procreate for this one, though my photography of it was laughable LOL (getting better phone holder now to make more Procreate tutorials)

And if so, do I only need to make 5 sizes in total :24x36,18x24,16x20,11x14,8x1? And one more thing, the 300 dpi, how do I know if the dpi is 300?

@@iamherpoetry6273 So - There are 5 popular ratios You can make your designs in other ratios if you want. The maximum size of the artwork is something you choose- nothing mandatory. Can be less than what you wrote here. Or more. And as for DPI, again it’s the easiest thing ever !!! To make sure a design is 300 DPI you have to multiply the desired inch size with 300 - and use these dimensions for your pixels settings. Or - use a software that lets you create an inch design that is 300 dpi.

Organizing files is not my strong suit. I am currently trying that out myself for my break. BUT I can tell you that one thing that helps me so much with Canva, laptop and even Zazzle files- is to name each file before uploading it anywhere, as - then- I can search for it on Canva/zazzle whenever I need it for a design.

@@MeyTribe Well hey it worked!!😀From PDF to JPG 300 dpi. I mean, with printable art I see mostpeople offering mostly JPG now and the advice from other youtubers is to offer both! But, isn't PDF print on Canva just as good if not better than JPG 300dpi (as i believe the pdf is also 300 dpi). this is the area im still a bit confused about? OMG what is zazzle 😄 Yeah I've now started naming everything before i save it on canva I'm just afraid i'm not going to be able to find where everything is stored and end up loading the wrong files on Etsy lol! I'm new to this whole space about a month or so in to the research an creation now my god there is soooo much to learn but that's what's great about it i guess all these new skills!! BTW what file types do you offerr on your shop? THANK YOU.💖

Thank you so much Mey for the amazing video! When downloading the finalized images from Canva, would you recommend JPG, PNG or PDF? After I downloaded them and checked the details of the images, it reads a lower than 300 dpi.

Yes!!!! I do believe there are 2 other videos before that, my monthly goals, and part 2 of the video I uploaded today. Although that part 2 would talk about marketing and mindset mistakes for redbubble sellers - that is very much the same mistakes Etsy printable sellers make .

Best way is to test it out yourself, using your own art, and seeing if it comes out OK. I know many artists who sell printables with RGB and it looks just as fine. It also depends on the paper type the customer will go with, or if they'll want to print it out on let's say- wood.
