Managed to somehow watch this video today, Times Infinity... Really great animations!!! How fast the pulsars rotate! How brightly the stars shine! And the one - line facts! I never knew Titan would become habitable when the sun turns into a red giant... And that Quasi Star! I really liked this video... ...but I liked the way you put the video in reverse mode in Size Comparison of the Universe 2017 during the last few seconds Please do the same for Size Comparison 2019 too...!

I just want to let you know... that Size Comparison of the Universe 2017 is the reason I am studying Astrophysics and hope to become a Theoretical Astrophysicist, hopefully with a Harvard PhD. If it weren't for you, I would probably be studying computer science. I am doing extremely well in Physics, so I just want to thank you for making such breathtaking videos and steering me towards a better decision. It may seem like an overstatement, but you have changed my life. I knew how incredible the universe was before your video, and I was considering going into physics or something before, but after watching your video, I truly saw how spectacular the universe is and how incredible it could be to be among the people solving its countless mysteries. That video has made me ask myself the questions that others can't even begin to comprehend. While my friend's head spins over it, I am looking to the sky as I ask myself not simply why the universe exists... but why it is possible for anything to exist. Why *existence itself* exists. It's a thought that I can't let go of. Because of you, it's part of me. If it weren't for you, I'd wind up with a moderately paying job relating to computer science after having failed my childhood dream of becoming a great video game developer wishing that I had used my natural intelligence for something better. Now I know that I will get a Bachelor's degree in physics and hopefully get a PhD in astrophysics (hopefully from Harvard) and even if I don't want to become an astrophysicist, I can get a job pretty much anywhere with that.

Thanks Dgamer, I really appreciate the comment. Keep up the study, I think you'll do great! I can tell you from firsthand experience, university can be challenging but once you get there (And you will!) it is worth it, you'll learn so much more and come out with a richer understanding of the universe. Good luck with your studies!

I have no right to "guess" whether or not it is infinite. We have no evidence towards whether or not it is. My current conclusion that the universe is only as big as the space in which energy occupies. Because space itself is energy, we can only assume that the universe is infinite. It goes without saying that to apply the concept of the universe being infinite/finite in any way to any scientific arguments is wrong. Additionally, saying the universe is only as big as the space in which energy occupies is not the full picture. While there might be somewhere without energy, that doesn't mean energy is incapable of existing there.

There should be seeing as NASA is about to launch the TESS space telescope this month. Its supposed to examine 200000 solarsystems over the next 2 years in a 200 light year radius. The cameras can detect light variations of down to 0.04‰ and since the earth passing infront of the sun lowers the sun light by 0.1‰ it means TESS can detect smaller exoplanets than previously possible. These smaller planets have a higher probability of life than the larger ones discovered so far so its gonna be an exciting year :)

Beautiful. The fact that there are stars alone that are larger than the black hole holding our galaxy together is truly mind blowing. A silly fact I like to throw at people is: "The difference between the size of an atom and that of a human is the same difference between a human and the known universe." (The best way to know truth is to post the wrong answer online, so if that isn't true any more I'll know soon enough. And thanks in advance to those people!) Great Video, many thanks!

Human to even visible universe is a bigger jump, because there are billions of atoms in a human body but in the known universe there are way more than 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms which is the square if a billion. Therefor there must be a bigger gap (assuming ofc that u are talking proportional and not absolute difference which would be a silly question) hope this answers your question in a satisfactory way!

That was obviously the best one yet. I can't think of anything bad to say about it. The graphics were amazing the animation was fluid and smooth, the intro was great too. I can only praise you for your efforts. It was worth the year of wait. I can't think of any constructive criticism at all (I don't know if that's a bad thing or not but I feel it's a good thing) you are nearing the event horizon of animation. It will be heard to get better but the slightest bit of improvement at this point will be large. I will wait even a whole extra month past '19 for This! I can't think of anything to say. Except, LICHTENSTIEN.
