This must be Ben Simmons himself, with all these accolades. You can't teach heart , you can't teach being basketball hungry, where you had to fight a roach over a sandwich to have a meal, that type of hunger can't be taught. So no Ben Simmons, too damn soft, and we have a fingernail painter already.

The only way I take him back is if he plays for Shanghai Sharks for a few seasons, he has to be humbled 1st before coming back…

Sixers can only sign 6 Vet Mins to get roster to 15 with a Team Salary of about 176 M which is 2 M below the 1st Apron. If they go hit the first Apron they lose options, such as later taking back more salary than sending out. Taking on anything but the Vet Min players will put them above the 1st Apron. They can't even sign DFS and Nets won't trade him without getting back about 2 firsts.

Lets put it this way. If hes healthy & got everything else in order.... Sixers best teams & most success was when Simmons was at PG Not Maxey , Not Harden. And in terms of playoffs performances - Embiid is the one that choked the most in playoff series after playoff series. Had embiid produced against Tor like he should have - We likely would have a title.

I fully agree with bringing him in If it’s on a minimum contract.. We need rebounding. Passing & lockdown defense on wings like Tatum. Ben can do all of the above. Almost like a Dennis Rodman, or Ben Wallace type of role on a championship team. Just can’t have him in at the end of close games. His free throw shooting is too poor.

His defense, passing and rebounding, length and athleticism will make Philly the favorites to win it all. Oubre/Simmons/George combo can defensively match any wing combo in the league.

Be honest, your two best players embid n maxey below average passers. Ben be perfect, rebound, passing, defend all 5 positions. Person should left was tobias
