Only calculated risks. Star hunting is cool if they are stars. But these guys are just overpaid. To have success you must focus on development and expert drafting. Winning is a product of that philosophy. Free agents are attracted to that.

Wtf is wrong with Lavine ??? I much rather have him than PG. He only makes 40M. Leaves the Sixers with plenty of space for a PF and backup C. Jalen Smith and Drummond. Lavine can score at levels. He can spot up shoot, beat a defender to the hole, and create space off the dribble and knock down shots . He is also a decent on ball perimeter defender. He is a career 38% 3 point shooter at high volume. You wouldn’t have to give up any assets either, more than likely the Bulls would have to throw in a 2nd Rounder or Protected 1st as well.

Same. I'll take him over PG any day. He's still relatively young too. The Bulls suck and need too much from him. The Sixers are a baseline top 2-3 team with a healthy Embiid. All they need is more competent players to hold them over while he's off the court.

Why is Morey so damn stubborn? You win with 2 stars and role players that fit! An Oubre, Paine, Batum along with signing a backup center, a rebounding PF and a shooter like Malik Monk!

I will keep saying this, we can use that 16th pick to get someone who comes off the bench now and becomes a starter later. A Center or Forward, no guards under 6"5'! Someone who can learn from Embiid and grow with Maxey for the future. Morley has been chasing after the same guys for years, and now they're old!

Honestly. I’ve been a 76ers fan since 2000… I know sports. My 76ers aren’t going to win anything until they change the way they play on offense. The offense needs to run through Maxey more and not through Embiid as much as they do in the past. Embiid usage rate is ridiculous….Everything is through the post and Joel is a turnover machine and takes bad shots when he can just make an extra pass. I love Joel but these playoffs are showing everyone that you need elite guard play and guards that can create their own offense from everywhere on the floor.

Does this organization not realized we are cursed? If we put the majority of our cap space into another star there is little to no doubt something will go wrong. If we sign a group of solid role players there is a much smaller chance of all of them getting hit by a car or some other crazy 6er situation happening to all of them In my opinion maxey and embiid are easily enough of a core to get a chip with the right support

These bastards have been chasing this Darryl morey dream since they bought this team. I’m not understanding what dude has won that makes them so infatuated with him and his style of team building. This ain’t working, instead of building the team with quality young players, they’re now stuck with just 2 good players who they’ve never really helped and a horrible free agency list and lusting after aged star players who haven’t really done anything either. Truth be told, had morey been a smart man, there were decent moves he probably could’ve made to give them a better chance in the playoffs this season but he’s stuck on trying to win like the lebron era heat. This team was built around Embiid, the reason we lost so many games when Embiid was out was because we couldn’t get a rebound. Maxey did have some inefficient games but the team was not built around him to win.
