The six minute walk test (6MWT) is a widely used fixed time field test(FT) applied in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation interventions with the purpose of assessing patient outcome and prognosis. It is evaluated using a simple formula and interpretation is done based on the predicted value of six minute walk test.
