Yo - that burp... killed me dude. I haven’t had a laugh that hard in a while, it almost seemed impossible how it came out - plus the on screen graphic was simply 100. I LOVE this watch and I’m fact I was having a seriously horrible time choosing between the 035 and 033 but this video really did an amazing job of putting this watches versatility on display. I’ve got mine in the post now!! Thanks for the awesome video!

The honey brown one looks fabulous - it's one of the best watch/strap combinations I've ever seen. Suits SARB033 perfectly. I'm buying this watch as soon as I have some free cash :)

Just bought a sarb033 as an early graduation gift for myself. Had to snatch one up before it's completely discontinued. The tan Hadley Roma is gorgeous, definitely picking one of those up. I like the Barton leather straps too, but my pick would be the saddle brown.

Your video was very well done. Showing the straps first, telling us the brand and then putting on the watch and wrist. Great video very much enjoyed. Can't wait for the SARB035

also quick question, is your rotor loud on our 033? mine sounds as if a small piece of movement is lose and rattles with very slight wrist movement, probably going to have to have seiko fix it. have hardly worn it

My sarb017 has the same movement and the rotor is pretty loud as well. I've looked around a little on watchforums and it's a common thing.

Glad to have helped, Tyler! And yes, it appears to be normal. Also, my SARB is also noisy. That's just they are. I say, if it's keeping good time and you do not see anything visible wrong, it's fine.

Green strap was awesome! This watch has the ability to be a dress watch or a field watch, depending on the strap - in my opinion. Great video!

I really like the black strap with the white stitching.

I've got an SNK793. Somewhat similar, but midnight blue dial and I've yet to change the stainless steel bracelet. You have definitely given me some ideas to try something new with it.

That has an 18mm lug width, huh? I would try one of these: amzn.to/2yx7DaO. These straps come out to 20mm after the 18mm lug sleeve which really changes the overall feel of those 18mm Seiko 5's. This strap is a bit stiff, though. It'll take a while to break in.

Light stitching on brown leather looks good because it matches the lume on the 033

Please do a long term update on this watch. This watch is spellbinding. I've the SARB 035 and i've been wearing it with the stock steel bracelet. I'm considering some leather straps to go with this watch.

I really like the espresso strap. I think that and the worn leather strap would look great on my sarb

Great video. you should make the cinematic video at an art gallery, haha! The great thing about this watch is it can look classy and dressy with an espresso strap but you can throw on the army green strap and you can go hang with some army green berets. Not only can it look the part but it can perform in both situations as well.

This watch is a strap monster. On mine I vary between a black and gold brown croc and a mesh bracelet. It is hard to go wrong with this watch.

How do you think the Barton Gingerbread would look with the Steinhart OVM? Looks like the strap could match the lume really well.

The gingerbread strap would be really good on a SARG 005.... I have mine on a desert tan canvas Hadley Roma... Great video as always....

Love the SARB, love the white stitching on black leather, but I’m not a fan of shiny straps. I think the Barton canvas strap looked a little cheap as well. I’d give the gingerbread an unimpressed pecan.

I feel that. It depends on the watch for me. On some watches, I just don't want a shiny strap. The canvas strap is cheap. I think that's why I like it on the SARB. It brings it down to tool-level and that's crazy!

Not Sure that the black Sarb has the same WOW that the white has with different strap combos!! Wish I'd grabbed the white Sarb when they were available but I'm being boring with a black leather strap on my 033. A truly great timepiece though that way exceeds it's retail cost ....

I prefer white face this the SARB035 , the same straps would produce different results. The green canvas reminds of a military field watch, thus wondering how the fine mesh would look. Thinking Victorinox Enfsntry GMT (black face with silver case and the mesh bracelet would be the expected look. Thinking for October maybe an orange Perlon strap for halloween. Your thoughts?

Absolutely. I have the 035 set for some videos in the near future and a comparison or two. That's a good idea. I may do the same!

I dig it! Here's my take on it. Strap 1 for driving an old car, but it can't be a super expensive one. Maybe a '87 Alfa Romeo Spider. Strap 2 with a white buttoned shirt. Strap 3 is a bit too black and shiny for me. It reminds me of fetish leather or silicone spray on a tyre. Strap 4 makes it look like nice field watch. I'd wear some boots and maybe a flannel shirt with it. Indiana Jones would wear it like that. Strap 4 might look good with a colourful sweater like a turcois or maroon v-neck. Strap 6 is not my taste.

I like the last strap a lot I't looks very good on the watch.

Don't feel weird! Suggestions are always welcome. That one is on my list, for sure! I wait for good deals on watches before I get them. I missed out on a really good price for the Visodate a few months ago. I had to make some other decisions. Maybe the price will drop this black friday!

This watch is one of my favorites. The bracelet is serviceable, but feels cheap imo. Plus the movement looks like something that should have been covered with a solid case back rather than displayed; however, this watch punches way above its price point. It's very versatile with a change of a strap, yet looks refined enough to be mistaken for a entry level Grand Seiko. Anyone in the know will confirm that GS watches are a great value at their price point. But after you've tried this piece on a quality strap it's very difficult to justify buying a 3 to 4 thousand GS when you can pick this one up for 3 hundred.

hey man I've been soooo excited to buy this watch but then I relized the tax laws in my country absolutely sucks! they make you pay 100% and sometimes 200% tax on items from online websites when they are shipped :( do you know anyway somehow I can buy it normally? it's impossible to find the model on the shops here

I have this watch and have only used the bracelet. Looks like I have been missing out on its versatility. The browns and black straps look best and enhances the dressy quality of the watch in my opinion. Not so with the colored and non-leather straps. Iconic watch is an accurate description. Still Evolving it does grab hair a bit but that seems to be a universal problem for me. Of course, all my watches are under $600 so maybe I just need to try more expensive watches with refined bands.

I think a dark brown strap would look great. Something with just a bit of shine such as the dark brown Hadley Roma in this video. The SARX might deserve something a bit more worthy, though. Like this: amzn.to/2yxFHnn lol. This is the real deal! I should get one at some point. Clockwork Synergy makes a nice brown that I think would also look really good (and is a quick release): amzn.to/2yxG6Gp. I would also say a navy blue would look great but matching them to the dial isn't always easy. Good luck!
