No one will probably see this comment but for me, the Sitka gloves just don’t fit my hands right, it’s like the stitching is too tight between my thumb and pointer finger so I can’t open my hand all the way. The XLs fit the rest of my hand perfectly besides the part on the thumb

Man...I wish I could say I've tried all of those, but I have only played with the Sitka mittens, which are super nice. I have a lot of other FL gloves, but not the mittens. Sorry man!

Hey There thanks for your reviews. I just bought a pair of the Traverse Gloves. How do you wash these? Some Diesel fuel was spilled on them on accident.

Hey there Tj! Thanks! Glad the reviews have been helpful. You should be able to wash them like any other Sitka clothes. I just use scent free detergent and let them air dry. Thanks for watching!

For some reason whenever I search up a gear review your channel pops up and I love your content. I do have a couple questions though regarding the traverse glove. How did they work with trying to shoot a bow? And did your hands over heat when hiking with them?

Hey there! I'm glad the channel is showing up in search and glad the content is helpful! Shooting a bow would be tough with the Traverse gloves...they are a bit thick for that. I've worn them hiking just fine, but it all depends on the temp of course. Thanks for watching!

@Aerosith yeah, good call. If I need yo shoot with a release, the Ascent gloves are good...and then First Lite Guide lite (if they still make them) are good to shoot with. Otherwise I just take the gloves off if it's cold but I need to shoot.

I’m looking for a pair of gloves that can double as my active pheasant gloves while carrying a shotgun and also my tree stand gloves for hunting deer with either my bow or muzzleloader. Live in NJ where typically it doesn’t dip too far below 20-30. Thinking the traverse gloves and jetstream beanie. Would you recommend that?

Hello could you tell me how big your hands are, based of that their size guide(measure circumference over knuckles and then lenght) my hands are 215-220 knuckles and 205-210 lenght, idk i usually buy L or XL gloves, i wanna buy traverse or gradient, and then delta deek probably(thinking of the stormfront) but i dont want the liner gloves to be too big to use in the deek or too tight, and idk if that deek in L or XL

Hey there Andre! My hands measure at 9.25in per the Sitka measuring guide, so right in the middle of the size XL. I've found all their gloves to fit very true to size so far, so I'd go with the size you typically wear. Thanks for watching!

I have some Sitka gloves which are like the stormfront but older, they pre-date that product line. And honestly, I hate them. They just aren’t warm and I don’t like having to screw around and keep track of liners. I have $20 Costco snow gloves that are warmer I want to buy some nice new gloves but idk if these are worth it. How do they stack up against other brands? The rest of my gear is Sitka, so I’d like to have Sitka gloves, but I’m kinda turned off by how crappy my old ones were I love all my other Sitka gear, I just haven’t had good experiences with their gloves. Maybe these are different though idk

Hey there! Yeah, I like some of the Sitka gloves, and not as much others. These Stormfront Gloves aren't terribly warm, but I do like them for wet weather. They still aren't terribly warm, even with the liner though, but I guess it makes sense given that they are designed as a waterproof glove, and if it's below freezing, you typically don't need a waterproof glove. I do like my First Lite Alpine Gloves better for cold hunts as they are much much warmer, and also waterproof. I hope that helps!
