I kinda sucks that they didn’t put the same stuff from the Dakota hoodie on the inside but I can hunt into late season with just heavy base layers, a hoodie and that to cut the wind. The price you pay is for that wind stopper but it’s worth it’s weight in gold, in my opinion.

Yes, I wish the Dakota Vest was the same as a Dakota Hoody but in vest form. Very mid-leading .

Do you size up your vest one size higher than what you originally where?

I don’t size anything up or down. I get an XL across the board.

I wish they made this in different patterns. Open country be nice

Jetstream Jacket in a solid color.

I have a gradiant hoodie and i was looking for a jacket to layer over the gradiant?? Would tou recommend a dakota jacket or duck over ? I also have the dakota wadding for rain days .

I wouldn’t layer the duck oven or Dakota over the gradient. If I was you I would get the Dakota vest to layer over the gradient and under your (I assume) delta wading jacket. I have the gradient and Dakota and I really hate mixing them together. You can make it work but it’s way better without one. I prefer grinder hoodie, Dakota vest and gradient jacket or grinder Fahrenheit vest Dakota for really cold days
