WHO WE ARE:
We are Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, and Lauren Cimorelli, 5 sisters originally from Northern California who are now based in Nashville, TN. We grew up singing in a big family of 11 children and our mom, a classical pianist, taught us to sing in harmony when we were kids. We got our start in musical theatre productions, doing classical pieces in the church choir and performing barbershop harmonies at nursing homes for the elderly (back then our grandma was our agent).
In 2009, when Christina was 18 years old and Lauren was 10 years old, we posted a cover of us singing Party In The USA that ended up going viral. From that video, we were discovered by a manager in London, and shortly after signed with Universal Music Group under Island Records. We moved to Los Angeles in 2010, where we lived and worked in the L.A. pop music world for 5 years, before getting extremely burnt out. We realized a major label deal wasn’t for us, left our label and moved to Nashville, TN, looking for a new start. In 2015, we officially became Nashville-based, independent artists.
Since then, we have written and released 5 albums of original music, toured all over the U.S., South America, and Europe, performed at festivals in Germany, Spain and the Philippines, wrote a book, Believe In You: Big Sister Stories and Advice on Living Your Best Life, started a podcast (The Cimorelli Podcast) and reached over 1 billion views on our KZread channel. Currently, the 5 of us sisters are embarking on new journeys of marriage and starting our own families (Christina, Katherine and Lisa), and figuring out life as twenty-somethings (Lauren and Amy).
Our goal with our KZread channel is to constantly challenge ourselves to grow creatively, and to make videos and music that is positive, uplifting and innovative. Our Christian faith guides our decisions, and we will always create content that is family friendly, while not being afraid to touch on topics that we believe are important, such as mental health and personal growth. I know Lisa, Christina and sometimes Lauren always do arrangements. But I would love to hear a full cover arranged by Katherine or Amy. I love their less is more approach

Lisa's competitiveness is a mood. Love how she is talking about "deciding who is the winner and who is the loser", who is gonna get "cut off"😂
This was amazing. Really liked Christina's and Lisa's versions the most, but still it was hard to pick since everyone did so good!! 💛

The 5 versions all together sounded totally AWESOME. I listened with headphones and you can still pick out individual tones and harmonies of each sister. You girls did great!! Loved it!!

anyone else love how like the sisters’ voices are like an orchestra - like how the brass/woodwind family instruments cover different ranges, have slightly different timbres but harmonise together so swelling well!! and they sound so similar when they enter each others’ ranges - eg. Amy’s high register you’d easily mistaken for Lauren’s and you almost hear bits of Christina in Kath’s arrangement! love you girls💛 :))

Katherine has so much emotion in her voice, and her style really is so melancholy that her version almost made me cry.
Yesterday I woke up with Delaney in my head, so naturally I went to watch the music video. It is the craziest to have watched you all grow up on KZread, get married, become moms. Just so crazy. I’ve loved it. I remember watching the Party in the USA video when it first came out, and I’ve been a fan ever since. LAUREN. You've grown so much as a songwriter and a musician in general! I love love love so much of it. Your and Christina's isolation parts are magical. I fell in love w something everyone did. Kath's lows, Christina's "too cold" and "your hand" isolation for sure, Lisa's relaxed vibe with what I call "raindrops", Amy's "now" chord and swell and Lauren's EVERYTHING. Having siblings myself, I know you guys really just want to know who wins, so I’ll just say that if I was picking based off the type of music I listen to, I’d go with Amy or Katherine’s versions. I know they didn’t do as many arrangements, but it really worked for the chill/laid back style they were going for. And I love the whispery/breathy sound Kat had in hers (especially at the end), it sounded so quiet and beautiful. They were all incredible & blew us all away (as usual), but if we’re picking favourites, I think Amy & Kath win this round for me!
Wooow, all these arrangements are so beautiful! But I must say, Amyyy giiiiirl! I was just preparing my dinner and when I heard your version my chin just fell on the floor and I had instant goosebumps! I really love it!
