i think amy and lauren’s approach of playing the chords and then singing whatever words and melody came to mind worked a lot better that christina and kath’s more structured method

For a quick 10 minute challenge then yeah Lauren and Amy's method is better. But then again, heartbreak songs are very easy to write, compared to a love/crush song. It's hard to make a love song NOT sound cheesy/Disney

Christina the song is good 😭😭😭 stop doubting it! The melody of the post-chorus is chef's kiss. Thank god Kath believed in it. You two did a great job!!

I love how each team broke down the song. Lauren’s and Amy’s sounds like a recital and it is crisp and elegant. Christina’s and Katherine’s sounded like a pop song and it was upbeat.

“Explain to me how you could leave so fast After all that good that we had in the past” Would have been good for Lauren and Amy’s second lines

Ok so I LOVED the positivity on Christina and Kath’s.. however I loved the “story” on Lauren’s and Amy’s! Both veeeeeeery good 😍

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if they did a competition where each team had the same 3 words but they had to pull a "theme" from a hat so each time had to use those words to make a different mood/ theme.

Okay now I wanna listen to the complete version of both songs 😂

Banning the song from being a breakup ballad was a genius move! It added a new element of pressure, but it paid off in the end. Definitely resulted in the more memorable chorus. Great job by all though. Amazing to see what you can accomplish in only 10 minutes!

I love how when they were trying to find good words amy and lour came up with 'shook' for book..... And kath and Chris came up with 'shock' for clock 😂

I'd love to see a video of you actually writing/arranging/recoding a whole song (I know it's a lot but I'm just so curious about how that would go)

Lauren reminds Amy that it's CHANGE not END and then goes ahead and sings end in the final thing😂 i think it kinda gives an amazing vibe though, i would say both of the people involved in the story are saying the same thing but one thinks they ended the other thinks they just changed over time, maybe they can incorporate more changes if they were to put this into a full song.

That was cool. Love seeing the behind the scenes process. You all are incredibly gifted. That seemed almost effortless.
