Janelle is the epitome of emotional maturity. She knew it was time to go, and had the strength to do it, but I think she's perhaps still struggling with the heartache of having to step into a life that is different from what you had envisioned and had committed your entire being to for so long. She wants to find her feet underneath herself first, and that's wise. When the time comes, it will have to be someone completely trustworthy and worthy of her level of loyalty. For now, fully enjoy your peace, Janelle.

At the end of her answering about looking for a partner you can hear her end it with;I’m just not gonna do that again. The way she feels about a partner is totally understood by me. The effort and time invested was so deep in the relationship she’s just too drained to even think about another relationship now. It would have to happen totally unexpectedly she’s saying. I totally understand that from experience. She has money ideas that she’s excited about that she can benefit from without sharing with Cody and Robin or anyone. Of course her kids will still benefit but she’s in control. Cody regrets the way hr treated her even more without her financial contribution. Christine was on top of not letting him keep taking advantage of her financially. Janelle was softer and ended up in an RV at one point. Now she’s free from that drama.

I just love both of these ladies! Christine is such a hopeless romantic but still maintains her sense of independence & Janelle is determined to stay focused on her future apart from Kody as well. Wonderful, exciting days ahead for both!

What a beautiful sisterhood and friendship they have, this has to make the transition easier. I can see why kody picked these beautiful souls but for the life of me I can understand why they chose him.

Christine hit the nail right on the head with what she was saying about Jenelle. I've been saying that even since the beginning. Janelle is just bad ass and always has been. She's always been very independent, very set in her ways and very much a boss! She loves working and being successful. She's literally JUST bad ass!!!

@sammi2918 I too wish that Christine and Janelle would just stop pushing Meri away and even on the show they have dismissed her of even being a part of the family for 2 years now. Meri was the start of this family over 30 years ago and she has every right to be given a chance to speak out just like Christine and Janelle !! Christine didn't start talking to Janelle again until Covid hit because Christine was so mad at Janelle for wanting the one big house Kody wanted them all to live in but then during Covid with those crazy rules of Kody and Robyn's that's when Christine started to speak to Janelle because shortly after Kody again told Christine to her face he didn't want to be with her intimately, he has told her twice now her never married her out of love, and that's finally when she started to really act like a friend to Janelle because Christine knew she was leaving Kody. I know Christine definitely is asking for a spin-off with only Christine and David and her family and Janelle and her kids and I don't think that's fair especially when Meri vocally stood up for Christine when Kody said what he said to Christine, Meri never once spoke a bad word about Christine and stuck up for Christine leaving but yet Christine and now Janelle are always making snide remarks about Meri and it makes me mad !! Christine and Janelle both admitted this season on the show that Meri and Kody were "the it" couple in the community, they were very much in love, Kody treated Meri like a queen and they both wanted what Meri had. 😢 I don't know how Meri ever spoke to Janelle because I wouldn't, that's for sure, I mean Meri introduced Kody to Janelle at Meri's brothers house because Janelle was married to Meri's brother ( Janelle was Meri's sister in-law) and admitted once she saw Kody she wanted him and divorced Meri's brother, Janelle knew she was supposed to follow the religion rules and go to Meri the head legal wife and talk to Meri about marrying Kody and joining the family but Janelle didn't she went directly to Kody and asked him to marry her !! Christine (Christine is Kody's 4th cousin) waited until she turned 18 and did the same thing Janelle did to Meri and Christine also asked Kody to marry her !! I think that would be hard for anyone especially when Christine came into the family saying the affection Kody showed to Meri had to stop because she was jealous and they were only to show affection in private. Meri financially helped Christine with the purchase of her home in Vegas and Christine had the guts to say Meri didn't deserve a big house or the upgrades she did to her home (Meri paid for her own home and Meri and Janelle paid the down payment on both Christine and Robyn's homes because they had no money or credit) because she only had 1 child but Meri had endured hell because of several miscarriages and not able to have more children and Christine made a very cruel remark to Meri making fun of her not being able to have more children. 🤬 I have been in Meri's place with pregnancies and it's very hard and it breaks you !! Christine went ballistic when Robyn came into the family and blamed that on Meri also but we all heard Robyn say she saw Kody and the family at church and she approached Kody so Robyn did no different than what Janelle and Christine did but Christine still blamed Meri because she knew who Robyn was !!! Christine was the common denominator of all the jealousy and problems in that family period. When they all moved to Flagstaff again it was Christine who first found a house to buy but again didn't have the money for her down payment because her house in Vegas was the last to sell so again it was Meri that gave up 100% of the profit she made off the sale of her Vegas home and Janelle gave 50% and every penny of it went to the down payments on Christine's and Robyn's homes AGAIN !!! That's why Janelle said here I sit broke and with no assets to my name and we (meaning her and Meri)have helped Christine and Robyn and when is it going to be my turn !!! Janelle and Meri never got their money back because the family money fund had stopped once they were all in their homes in Flagstaff per Kody's rules !! If Christine is really Janelle's friend why didn't she pay Janelle back the money when Christine made over a $350,000 profit on the sale of her Flagstaff home but yet never even thought about what Meri or Janelle had did for her and her children not once but twice ??? Christine says she doesn't like Meri but didn't mind taking her money twice now did she ??? 🤬🤬 That's just like Meri helping Christine do a Gofundme for Ysabel's surgery and Christine was living in a nice house, driving a Lexus SUV but can't afford health insurance on her children and Christine received over $70,000 to help pay for Ysabel's surgery but yet on the show Christine said she had gotten health insurance to cover the surgery ??? Many people who had given to the Gofundme were livid and asking where their money went since she had insurance to pay for the surgery and Christine's only response was I used the money for traveling and food expenses !! Bottom line is Christine ripped the people off who so kindly gave to help Ysabel and not foot the bill for Christine and her other children's 6 week vacation with Christine posting on social media all the fun they were having by going to all the cool places around her sister's house that they all stayed with at no charge !!! Christine has made out like a bandit money wise being in the Brown family and she got just as much cash out of Meri and Janelle as Robyn did !!! I really tried to keep this reply short and there is lots more that Christine got away with like traveling all over during Covid and putting off her own daughters surgery because she didn't want to spend the money on health insurance while many of us were stuck at home and where I live the border's coming in and out of the state were closed unless you had a DOT certified form to leave and re-enter the state only for emergency response work but you here is Christine traveling all over and visiting everybody for vacation ?? I cannot stand Kody but when he said to Christine's face you have not stayed home can you have been traveling all over for your own pleasure but yet when you get home you wonder why I can't come around you and the kids because you have been around so many people and what Kody said was the truth !!

NOT ALL WOMEN NEED A MAN... janelle is very independent and really enjoys her alone time... . christine found her soulmate and she wanted true love because she never had that... they make the perfect bbf's because they are ying and yang.... it is awesome that janelle really LIKES and respects david because then she can spend lots of time with her bff christine and enjoy spending time with david too... i swore if my long term relationship ever ended i was not gonna have another one... I LOVE BEING BY MYSELF.... and just picking and choosing when i spend time with other people..... my relationship wasnt horrible i just enjoy doing what i want on my terms... i also realized even as a kid if i had the option to stay home while my whole family went to do something i really enjoyed being home alone... i get janelle 😊 i love that they are still a family and best friends and that david lets christine be christine... it is just heart warming and that davids family loves her as well ❤️❤️❤️

After a 20 year relationship ended for me, I found the freedom of being with my children and career it was so nice not to have to worry about anything taking my time. I date but on my terms. Friends are wonderful.

In years to come, Kody will realize all he has lost. He will spend his last years with a lot of regret.

I hate how people assume that single women are just dying to hook up and get married as soon as possible. Nope. No. Women are fine on their own and this assumption is gross.

Exactly. Janelle chose plural marriage BECAUSE she didn’t want a full time man or to be a full time wife. She valued her independence more than everything else. That’s why she went to work and Christine mommed the kids.

Wow Christine just wanted someone who was kind and attracted to her. Being with Kody made her set her bar really low. That said, David seems like a wonderful guy.

I'm glad Christine found love, but was a little disappointed when she got married right away because she only dated a short time. I think Janelle is doing it right. I hope she eventually find love, but I think enjoying the freedom is really admirable. These women have been married since they were 19-20s, they haven't had thr space to enjoy being single, and have what they want without having to consider others or sacrefice for the family.

I think Janelle is lying to herself because she's afraid. She keeps going back and forth like that would be nice then she steps back. I do think she wants to find the one otherwise she wouldn't have married twice. She just doesn't want to put in all the effort again only for it not to work out and that scares her.

I think Janelle is taking longer to herself is because her relationship with Cody was much different from Christine's relationship with Cody. She had an actual relationship with him. I think he respected Janelle alot for alot of reasons. Christine had been emotionally distant from Kody for along time before she left. I think what sealed the deal Christine was that Kody didn't want to have sex with her anymore. I don't blame Christine at all for leaving.
