I agree, but he also was born in Puerto Rico, as a mexican you can't deny your origins, his father was spanish and his mother was italian. A thing that we have the mexicans with pride it's that we receive a lot of foreigners like ours and make part of our culture that they can't leave behind, and yes Luis Miguel is mexican not by born but was by adoption. Also he has the US citizenship.

Luis Miguel is known as El Sol de Mexico (The Sun of Mexico) and is known as one of the greatest Mexican singers of all time. He has never been known as a Puerto Rican singer. Luis Miguel was born in a Puerto Rican hospital while his dad and mom were travelling to that island while on work travel. Other than that, he really has no connection to that Caribbean island. He grew up in Mexico and his career was created there thanks to the powerful Mexican music industry that brought his talents to the world.
