My mother helped me purchase a home. I paid her back this house has been an open door for family and friends in need. 25 years later my mother moved in. This is what we do. LOVE.

It's not our business. We didn't come for them but they always came for us. We always tried to mind our own business and show kindness. We always fought for everyone and no one fought for us. I care for all people, but I know what is not my business. I'm about black families.

I've been in a situation where I was the "only" person. As soon as they realized that I was moving up, they fired me!

Another example: I'm a 4yr graduate in BBA and studied at a Technical College in Accounting. So, I'm on a job hunt, mailing out Resumes and knocking on multiple doors of Banks. Many jobs, I'm told, are not even advertised. Months later, I'm having no success. I'm hearing the same sad songs of being either under or overqualified. I know all the words by heart.

This one hit home. No matter how much you’re “educated” they always wanna hold you down. I think all we can do is start our own gigs and distance ourselves from all the negativity and jealousy.

I heard a phrase that says, "Don't ever feel sorry for a man who owns his own airplane." That phrase is not unlike what this sister has said here in her commentary. To feel sorry for a group of people who, by comparative standards, have never had to struggle for anything as everything was handed to them on a silver platter simply for being white. As Mr. Scott stated, "White people just had to show up" & they went straight to the head of the line & received all the benefits while 'others' had to jump through every hoop imaginable just to get to the line much less in it.

She broke that down so well. Their system is about to fold in on them and we should just get our popcorn ready to watch the show.

This sister needs to become a regular guest on your show, even a call-in guest.

They heard my groans, but no 1 turned to comfort me, when my enemies heard about my troubles, they were happy to see what you had done, OH BRING THE DAY YOU PROMISED, WHEN THEY WILL SUFFER AS I HAVE SUFFERED. LAMENTATIONS

The fact that we could establish a black wall street at all with all our adversity ( even though it was torn down) proves what an amazing powerful people we are. no one else could with those same odds constantly working against them.

If they cant win a 400 meter race with a 300 meter head start, then nothing can be done for them.

The sista is spot on, this is what happened in South Africa, white, Indians and coloured people(mixed race) were treated better than black African people. Them people called us kaffers.

Sis was speaking nothing, but facts. 💯 Their problems, fights, battles and welfare are not our responsibility nor our concern.
