The first time I seen Kenya afrika, I was upset, angry, and disgusted with myself for waiting so long tu come back home if you will, I feel so comfortable when I'm in Kenya, I plan on buying land and building me a home in Kenya, I love it in afrika, I want tu see other African countries, I love speaking Swahili, I love the food, the people are cool, the women are beautiful I love Black women, every place has it's own difficulties but I rather face the difficulties in afrika than the difficulties in america

It’s time AA started looking towards East Africa. Kenya is a great country to consider. The transition from the US to Kenya is easier in my opinion. The standard of living (HDI Index) is much higher in Kenya compared to most countries in Africa. There’s world class Healthcare system, International Schools, great entertainment spots, fast internet, world class hotels and restaurants, great holiday destinations and a very good social scene given that the number of expatriates is huge in Nairobi. The weather too is something to consider. Nairobi has cool weather all year round.

I’m 40, born in Oakland, Raised in Ohio, grew up in San Diego, lived in Sacramento, thought about moving to New Orleans, Las Vegas , Phoenix…I hate it here. Can’t run from racism but I can run back home. Africa I hear you calling me, it’s time I picked up the phone.

I relocated from the US to Scandinavia and can relate to some of the reasons why people left. One large reason is it seems we live to work in the US even if you have a very good income. I enjoy working so I can live complimented by safety nets that catch me if I fall. I also can relate to less stress from having access to healthcare, safety nets, better road conditions and no fear of police. Basically, the US is a very toxic country. There are positives but it depends on what one values the most.
