I was at this live performance and it was jaw-dropping. Especially because it was a song she hadn’t released yet. That auditorium holds 21,000 people and you could have heard a pin drop it was so quiet. The audience was mesmerized. And then the applause!- it went on, and on, and on- along with a standing ovation- and rightly so! I can’t accurately describe the experience- it was SO AMAZING.

She is like royalty in Norway. You must listen and react to more of her. She is from the same town in Norway as Aurora. What they say about her is "properly the best cross-over soprano in the world". She har sung with all the best tenors in the world also. Look it up. Great reaction you two and it was nice to see you taken a little of guard.

A friend of mine used to sing in the Tabernacle Choir. He said Sissel is a beautiful soul, so kind, and so humble. The Choir loves her!

Sissel is such a wonderful singer! She sings different kinds of music - all exquisite! I did not know about this performance - wow! I could feel my heart slowing and muscles relaxing just listening to it. Thank you for this! If this is what heaven sounds like, I'm signing up - LOL! Yes! 😇

Sissel was born to sing. Her voice is out of this world. Please react to Sissel singing "Pie Jesu" by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Thank you for reacting to the Norwegian national treasure. She is also the best-selling female singer of Norway and a huge star in Scandinavia. I really hope you will be reacting to more of her performances. Try react to Sissel performing songs like "O mio babbino caro", "Pie Jesu" and "You Raise Me Up".

Thank you so much for your great reaction to the most beautiful song and performance ever (beside Aurora's "Through the eyes of a child" live at Nidarosdomen) 🙏💖💖 If you have watched the movie Titanic, you have heard Sissel before, she was the humming voice in this movie🤩 Please react to her "Like an angel passing through my room" with the Tabernacle Choir, this is a ABBA cover.

Your comments are shrewd in judgement. One of her great strengths is her sincerity and the honesty of her voice. She probably wasn’t "in the room " singing that. She certainly was taken aback when she realised the effect she had had on almost 20k people, taking to their feet to applaud.

This is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, one of the best (snd at 360 voices, the largest) choirs in the world. Their version of Brahms German Requiem Mass ( sung in English) is superb. They perform mainly in the Tabernacle in Salt Lake City …the center of the LDS church ….. rather like St Peter’s is to Catholicism. .

Sissel Kyrkjebø has a formidable voice, but sadly a boring way to use it. She was best in her younger years, singing Norwegian folk songs and hymns.

Sissel is ageing. We can't expect her to sing like in the 90s and 00s. That is against nature. For her age she sing incredible. Well, best in the world at her age
