I can’t stand they didn’t talk about the performances at all. Especially Jason Patric!!! What! He stole the movie.

It’s weird Gene said Aaron plays another creep in this when he’s like the most innocent character in the movie 😂

Seriously. His character is the only one that isn't a jerk or does anything really wrong, yet hes the one to be stuck alone.

Really is a great forgotten gem, for adults so don’t expect a nonstop comedy or thrill ride

I saw this movie in college while in a narcissistic sex based relationship. It smacked me in the head like a whip and was like an intensive therapy session. Really helped me realize that i needed to take a step back and focus on my spiritual development

Cold, but it is both sad and so absolutely funny that the most evil character on the surface, while not loving, IS the most honest... I so loved this film. I really don't see Siskel's point here. Etkarts final line is brilliantly funny.

That's the paradox isn't it? The sociopathic narcissist has 0 perceptIon or understanding that what he's communicating has any negative connotation (or any sympathetic capacity for that matter) whatsoever and hence honesty, but on the flip side is responding to the conditions of a self-created apathy and probable nihilism

Crazy how well Patric played a Sociopath in this movie...

I thought this was better than in the Company of Men. I suppose I found it more believable because it was more believable.

The major plot twist in the end is like a ball peen hammer to the senses. I was simply stunned. Amazing

@@mostirreverent Have you seen the Business of Strangers with Stockard Channing? I think of it kind of like the Company of Men but with women.

Very wrong. That movie a classic. Note to self. Piss on Siskel's grave.
