Of all the songs of LOTR I always shed a tear...I hear Sam's Speech to Frodo on Mt. Doom about not giving up hope...when im at my lowest I play this song and it cheers me up by the end because one musn't lose hope

Isso é lindo, sempre assisti os filmes, mas hoje com a maturidade comecei a ler os livros ( sociedade do anel ) sempre após o trabalho, vou para o quarto coloco essa INCRÍVEL MÚSICA e começo minha leitura....... Agradeço de coração Tolkien, que esteja com Deus.

Sencillamente un genio. Quizás no veas este comentario y es probable que no entiendas mi idioma (español), pero eres el primer flautista clásico que conocí y me encantaría tener la oportunidad de conocerle en persona para charlar de música y recibir algunas lecciones de flauta (instrumento que toco desde el 2011, aunque hay algunos años en los que no he tocado).

Jimmy ya anda por los 80s pero existen algunos tutoriales de Galway en internet muy recomendables.

Con todo el debido respeto, siempre he sido un admirador de James Galway sobre todo por su carga emocional, rango interpretativo y presencia escénica pero me sería muy difícil decir que Jean Pierre Rampal no hubiere sido el más grande flautista de todos los tiempos, sobre todo en cuanto a su fuerza interpretativa, dominio tonal, increíble habilidad y su interpretación del clásico, barroco y jazz se refiere. Lo ví solo una vez en mi vida y es un recuerdo, después de 50 años, imperecedero. Claro que es algo extremadamente subjetivo pero sería inresante hacerle la pregunta a Sir Jimmy Galway.

Arjan, considering Mr mcmanus hadn't started making whistles until after this video was released I'd find that hard to believe lol The whistle he's playing here is from Chris abell

this was probably recorded with a very old camera (for today's standards) and the only way i can think off to make this video 1080p is to use AI
