Love to our Sir Anthony; Coming from CA,USA to say this was a really fun video to watch of your shows and acting. I love it !! Now I live on the coast of WA,USA more to my liking. Our welsh hero of movies. You were wonderful. But for all the you couldn't do book learning, an actor has to read and remember so much what a memory. That is harder than reading a book, putting in a bookmark and coming back later. So you could have done college but as you said when actors college gave you a scholarship what could you do but go. It was just meant to be it brought out the you so much. God bless you and your wife and all your loved ones. Thank them for sharing so much of you with us. I will see you on the flip side.Have a wonderful life, stay healthy for us and your wife of course. She's got you now. Have fun you two.

All of our questions can be answered or at least those which God is willing to reveal if we are allowed to look in the only place they can be found. The four gospels. Why we are here and our purpose for being here can be found there. The bible is the Guidebook to eternal life. Thye bible is the only thing or book that has any value in the entire world. If we don't believe in God, it is because God has not allowed it. Jeremiah 5:21 “Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:” King James Version (KJV)Matthew 23: v 10-Call no man Teacher for you have One Teacher, the Christ.

I once saw Hopkins at a pre-screening of "The World's Fastest Indian" a film he made in New Zealand at the Harmony Gold theatre in West Hollywood. He was very cordial and gracious and handled the Q&A with diplomacy and tact.

Fascinating interview, not so much about him speaking of his acting skills but about his deep and informative impression of the human psyche. Great interviewer also.

Best interview I have seen of Sir Anthony Hopkins which I had to watch with a blinder on the screen. The camera person is afflicted with St.Vidus Dance. This music video approach to just a 30 minute plus interview is infuriating. He is the actor not the person filming.

That first clip, painful to watch when you know how good he's become. Sure the editing was real bad but just ufff on the delivery as well :). To contrast that was more than 10 years after Brando changed everything

That wasn't the best clip to show, but honestly, The Lion In Winter, is maybe the best on screen acting I've ever seen (with the possible exception of The Passion Of Joan Of Arc made back in 1928 where the lead, Renée Falconetti gives a monumental performance); Hepburn and O'Toole going at it hammer and tongs is wonderful to behold. Hopkins did look a bit static there though it has to be said.

Nah, he's very memorable in the Lion in Winter. The best of the younger cast members. That's why he got a BAFTA nomination for it, good reviews, and new film opportunities. His best scene is the scene with Timothy Dalton and later Peter O'Toole in King Louis' bedroom though.
