always the eternal queen, and her and budgies love is eternal, and no, not cocaine, just pure unadulaterated genius, something most mortals never get the joy of being close to, had the plewsure of seeing the creautures at maritime hall in sf, was a true joy

Damn! 9yrs before my birth. Wish they were still around. Awesome band. I'm a big lover of late 70's through late 90's music. The years that music actually made sense or AT LEAST sounded good!

Well done. Considering this is a quite complex done song on the album ( with FX, Keyboards etc). And Christine Sizemore (the strawberry girl - banana split lady) is still alive!

@joshbagby18 Plus, Siouxsie & The Banshees are quite an important and influential band, so you're quite wrong to tell Siouxsie to stop singing and go work at Hot Topic. I'm sure she's accomplished far more than any punk band you would recommend. Besides, aren't you arrogant to tell people to change their tastes in music just because you don't like this band?

@joshbagby18 Wow, I am amazed that you did not get flamed by Siouxsie fans. You're right that punk rock is not a genre that requires much vocal talent. But you're wrong about Siouxsie. No, she's by no means the best singer out there, but she isn't as horrible as you make her out to be, this was just a less than stellar performance. And in case you didn't know, she's also a songwriter, so her talent is more than just singing.

@joshbagby18 obviously you are more worried about perfection than making music.

It's a great song, but it's pitched far too low for her, especially the verses. On the 'Mantaray' tour it was repitched up and sounded fine, but unfortunately no Banshees...

Slammerworm1 Not so much that it's too low for her, because in a relaxed studio setting it is easier to hit them. When you're performing and projecting your voice in a larger live setting like this, with movement and such, pitching it up a little helps. Even with a microphone, that open environment with the jumping around can make it a challenge to hit lower notes that would be easy in a relaxed, maybe even seated setting. That's what I have found when I sing, anyway.
