Sinnis Outlaw 125 Review NEW 2022 Model First Ride. Is this the coolest learner legal bike there is?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

NEW RELEASE! Scoop! First Motorcycle review! We are the first channel to get our hands on the new Sinnis Outlaw 125.
In this video I review the newly released 2021/2022 Sinnis Outlaw 125cc motorbike! This has to be one of, if not THE coolest 125cc motorbike on the market today, and what an incredible price point too. I tell you about the handling, the quality of parts, the speed, the braking, engine, gears, suspension, styling, comfort, ergonomics and fit for taller or shorter riders, and much more.
It looks very similar to a Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle, specifically the Iron 883 or the roadster 1200!

update as at April 2023: the Outlaw is £3099OTR, the Hoodlum is £2899OTR. They're essentially the same bike, with a few cosmetic differences, and the Outlaw having lower bars, pegs instead of boards, and 1 more horse.

You did a really good job of reviewing this bike, I was sort of expecting you to diss it as you are now a Harley rider and have moved on but fair dues, you remain very enthusiastic for what's clearly a great looking little bike for the beginner

Thanks for the review! Sinnis motorcycles really do seem interesting. How would you think they compare to the old japanese 125 cruisers like the virago, intruder, dragstar, marauder and shadow? I'm about to get my CBT and can't decide between spending a bit more to get a new one or go for a used japanese. I'm 33 years old so just starting out, but long term project would be to get a bigger bike once I have more experience and a full license Thanks a lot in advance!

From our experience the old Japanese bikes fetch a lot of money and Sinnis is usually a better deal. They are good bikes and the only problems people seem to have are little electrical issues or speedo failing etc, but nothing major.

Nice review, thanks. I'd like to see more side shots of the bike on the move (can be a bit hard to do, I guess), and particularly to see and hear the bike going up through the gears and cruising along at top speed (only 50-55, I know). The engine sounds a little thin, but it's a 125 ... I'm considering the Outlaw vs the Hyosung Aquila 125 (a twin cylinder), which has 14 bhp, ... but I like the Sinnis body, speed counter dial and led gearing display too. Any side by side comparison thoughts? Cheers.

I rented a Sinnis RSX a few times when I was learning - really enjoyed it. Nice handling, and fast enough as long as I stayed away from the A27. But the rear brake master cylinder did fall apart while I was riding. I should have mentioned it to the MD (I think he lives on our road) 🙄 The Zontes zt125g1 is probably a better bike - faster, more toys, and better built. Sitting on it, it feels more solid than a Sinnis. But £500 more? If I was buying a 125, I’d probably pay the extra. I beg to differ on the power output, these low power outputs are common for low tune chinese engines, but the Japanese machines tend to be much nearer to the UK legal max power for the 125 cc of 14.75bhp personally I think any 125 with less than 12 bhp is dubious!

You get what you pay for, I am sure Chinese bikes are fine given that the Chinese ride them with no problems. However a lack of a proper dealer network in the UK means parts are a problem which mean they are not easy to resell. Plus Chinese bikes simply clone older engines so will always be lagging behind on performance. Must admit they are spot on in terms of design.

Had this bike for two weeks now and the engine management light has come on on nearly every journey. Took it back to the shop and they say its just a ghost light. Found it to be very rattley and clunky. Due to the engine management light I'm constantly worried that something is going to go wrong. Wish I'd bought something else now. Very disappointed with it

@@Wayneebrum I've been beating on it with the same piston inside for the past 5 years, and it has yet to let me down even once. I've had to replace the battery, and the head gasket, and it runs just fine with either completely buggered. Easy to push start without a battery, and the head gasket just made black bubbles in the coolant and a lot of pressure. My oldest bike is a 1972 Hercules, also a 2-stroke, and it starts right up every summer. Just get the mixture perfectly right, don't buy cheap heads/pistons, don't engine brake in non-oil injected machines, get a damn thermometer that actually works, and generally treat them like you should, and they're brilliantly simple machines. Valves are devices that keep air from leaving tyres.

Nooooooooo. We have a young lad at work who has a Sinnis scooter. Sometimes, at lunch break, we just gather round and watch it rot. That's on the rare occasion when he's come in on it - it's usually broken. I appreciate young riders may be a bit short on cash, but don't just throw your money away - save a bit more, wait & buy something better. Absolute junk.

I was hoping to enjoy this video but when you start the commentary of by insulting, putting down or generally insulting a significant amount of future subscribers and just showing general old school prejudice to scooterist is no longer exceptable in today's 2 wheeled world. Im not a lefty arse hurt rider who can't take a joke I have been riding and racing bikes and scooters for over 45 years so I do know the difference between this and pub banter now in my later years im on scooters again and amongst scooter riders I can assure you there is a lot of banter and piss taking about what type of scooter we ride or how we dress ie: automatic Chinese and plastic or geared metal and original Italian and body armored flight jacket or comedy mod etc etc. A bit like sports bikers taking the mick out of Harley riders but rarely in the presence of any HA or SS or any patched club . If you hoping to grow your online following it pays dividends not to alienate potential subscribers. And as always no matter what you ride, ride safe.
