Single Point Threading on a CNC Lathe

Ғылым және технология

Go through the steps and specifications to program this single point threading application on a CNC Lathe.
You'll need a scientific calculator and the handy Machinery's Handbook for thread specification and G-code help.
After your threads are complete you'll want to make sure they are accurate. If you still have some questions about measuring threads there are different ways to do it. Grab Matt's video on measuring threads here: • How to Measure Threads

I haven't touched a machine in 40 years. I found this very informative and woke up some old grey matter that helped me understand it. Very good!

I use a tl2 at work from 2011. I am assuming it uses the second type of g76 code. Will you be doing a video on that? Right now we just use what the vqi software gives us but on some threads, it takes forever to cut. Also interested in taking your class as I am local
