TESTIMONIALS
‘Started hitting the moves laid out in these courses the very next class...extremely uplifting to have such a quick improvement in my game’ - Houston, TX
‘I’m the only white belt in the academy doing these moves…I’m suddenly competing at a blue belt and above level…thanks Coach Tom’ - LA, California
‘Some of the best strategies you are going to see for control and submission’ - London, UK
‘The detailed way Prof Tom breaks down his moves into the absolute essentials is just next level for me. This is absolute gold‘ - Sydney, Australia
‘Most of the guys at my Academy, have about 60lbs on me, but since purchasing your ‘Kimura Attack system’ and ’14 days’ everything has changed. I feel much more confident, roll better and the guys on the mat have commented on the same. Thanks, Coach Tom’ - Dallas, TX
‘I know you have your names for your courses, but I’ve renamed them the ‘Zero to hero’ courses, I went from getting constantly owned, to now being completely dominant on the mat in no time at all’ - San Diego, California
‘I use the course material heaps, and just recently put it into action at a local comp, walked away with double gold. No one was more surprised than me! - Miami, Florida
‘As a new white belt, these classes have helped me so much, Prof Tom’s technique, the details, and his attitude. I love how Prof. Tom shows the ‘mistakes people make’ and then shows the correct way of doing things. The only one I have ever seen do this’ - New York, New York
Great videos, great instruction. I just watch them for hours…Melbourne, Australia
‘The instructional saved me big time at a recent comp, my opponent was def more experienced, but that was ok, coz I had Prof Tom’s video in my brain. Nailed it and scored gold’ - Colorado, Denver
‘All of it. Everything you show in your awesome videos are now my ‘go to techniques’. Thanks for your vids Prof, Tom’ - Houston, TX

We have a great club atmosphere :D
Kids turn up - impromptu life lesson about life balance. Then: "Speaking of balance, X Guard....". Absolutely epic segues :D
I love my academy and my Professor and coaches....but every day, every week I watch @grapplingacademy to reinforce what I'm learning in class. I've been training for a little over a year and am a blue belt. Half Guard 101, Side Control Escapes, Mount Attacks, Closed Guard basics helped me a lot. I've watch those vides many times and continue to watch them. Thanks and keep it up!

Amazing. Thank you both
I stopped like 8 years and single leg X was one of the first things I learnt so this video comes handy because sometimes I still do the shallow way and get passed . Thanks for sharing and looks like a great environment to train.
I love that x guard counter tip! Beautiful.
Thank you
Great tips. Thanks professor Tom.
My mind is blown! These dark arts of utilizing legs in BJJ. And yes, a healthy balance is key to effective living. Thanks once again for the highest level of online BJJ knowledge Prof Tom. I have class in 90 minutes and I know I'll end up in this scenario--can't wait to implement this!
Thank you professor Tom. Great technique. And better advice on what's important in life. Family. Stay healthy and good wishes from Colorado USA. Cheers.
Thanks Professor (and Jake) was wondering about a few things in this. You guys rock!
I loved you interrupting your own BJJ video for some brief family time! You could tell that meant a lot to Jake!
Thanks for explaining these bjj moves . I have tryed some of these moves on the mat in training
Beautiful video!
Ashi garami is by far my favourite, I got 4 of 5 takedowns in a state champs a few years ago, and went to ashi straight away from a collar drag, I couldn't finish any of them but these tips are giving me hope, also I learned the reverse X is a great setup for the "Gordon Ryan" style of 411
Great details, coach :)
I had the pleasure of training with one of your students at Dominance earlier this year, really nice guy and a bunch of different techniques I wasn't used to dealing with! Love watching your videos, very informative and easy to understand OSU!
Awesome getting this notification on my Saturday morning with coffee! Appreciate the tips!

Muito bom!
The blackbelt wiggle.
I've been trying to get into single leg X from the get go, but I find they break past my guard and get mount or side before I get any legs up as I'm sliding under them.
Excellent video. On a side note, you've talked about aiming to get 1000 reps drilled in other videos. When focusing on that, do you prefer drilling 1000 reps of a technique on both sides or just one side to start off with?

Always one side first: personally.
