Cary I just watched your seatbelt toss today and was blown away at your fluidity and precise understanding of; pressure sensitivity, leverage and position. I'm a huge fan of your teaching method and insane skill level. As an MMA instructor even at 50 I still aspire to have a far greater physical understanding of wrestling and its instruction and your stuff is an incredible resource.

On whether this move is legal or illegal (folkstyle): 1. Biggest factor is what part of his body he lands on. Head means it's probably illegal. Shoulder or arm probably means its legal. 2. Equally important is the ref. He/she will decide whether or not the move is legal based on proper execution or not. 3. Last but not least this move will LOOK illegal based on the amount of back arch put into it, which more often than not will influence the call by the ref. My coach was a freestyle state champion and he says he got called for moves similar to this simply because they looked illegal, not because they were illegal. All in all I believe this move is completely legal. The refs most likely would not have a problem with it. It is basically a shot with the addition of a wicked mat return finish.

It is great that you do many video takes as well as go slow motion. I wish I had these videos when I was wrestling.
