    why is that considered a low double. I would have thought a low double would mean hugging way below the knees and the head not being much higher than the knees?

    You seem to be confusing a low double with a low single. Low double just means your knee touches the mat, hands attack at the knee. High double your knee does not go down hands still attack at the knee. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rKOMqLKGXae2gM4.html

    Maybe check out some old school Catch Wrestling . They might have more ways of preventing or escaping the guillotine. Then again, I suppose you could just look up BJJ techniques for dealing with same .

    This is a position to gain back points. It would be hard to pin them from here unless you move into a tighter chest to chest hold.

    Unrelated; what is chest to chest called. Some say a cloth and some say chest to chest but what is the official name? (The pin where you hook the head and the arm from the side and use your hips to fight any bridging force)

    Wonderful drill! Do you have top guy switch up the order (or even randomize it)? If the breakdowns are lazy do you recommend the bottom guy staying unbroken down?

    Yes, top man can vary the order of breakdowns. Bottom man can offer some resistance but top man should be able to break him down every time for the drill to be successful.

    I think the front head lock is my favorite position to get people into, but I’m having trouble getting people down to the ground after I get their head. Anyways thanks Cary you are the greatest ever.

    Awesome! You have to capture the chin and the opposite tricep while keeping your elbows pinched to your side to keep the opponent from controlling your arms. On your feet with your chin arm shoulder in the back of his neck, push into your opponent when he reacts back pull the tricep in a circle to bring him to the mat.

    Could you switch hands on the wrist, jump across back, left hand on elbow of captured arm and run a 2on1 tilt?

    If one hand is committed to the wrist you can't do a 2 on 1. It's best to secure the takedown as described in the video and then look for turns on top. In other words, don't count your chickens before they hatch.

    Yes, that trapped arm is tempting but if it slips out you are back in neutral without a takedown.
